The question comes up a lot when someone has lost a perspective partner they really, really liked and the inquiry is always: “what is he looking for that I didn’t have?” Love is a strange energy that has no rhyme or reason. Some partners come together because they are just meant to be together and so well suited for each other, others because they have had happy relationships in past lives.

Of course, you will always have a type of girl that a guy usually goes after. What prompted me to write this article was a picture in the sports section of Tiger Woods winning his first Masters Cup in 11 years. I had expected to see the Danish looking blonde by his side, as was his first wife and several girlfriends after. But to my surprise was a small, petite, not particularly stunning woman with a great smile but you could see there was an obvious and palpable attraction between the two. So, what happened to the blond Danish princess? Only they have the answer.

So, what is the secret to the longevity of attraction that men have for certain woman? Falling in love is not what we are going to be addressing in this article. Being an attractive good-looking woman will take you to somewhere to your late 40’s, and then you turn around and find a 20-year-old has taken your place. We are going to look at what the experts call “Primal Calling” of what men find attractive in a woman.

1. They will like your smile and it will always light up the room for them.
2. They like a woman with cooking skills. (I can hear the groans across two continents on that one)
3. Playfulness to bring out the young bad boy in them.
4. Long messy hair. It is always associated with a woman’s youth and good health.
5. Every man wants their woman to become a loving mother to nurture them when they feel helpless.
6. Being authentic both physically and verbally.
7. Big hips. (yes, you read it here ladies) They associate them with fertility and giving birth to healthier and smarter kids. They may not be aware of what the attraction is but it is there!
8. Kindness to everyone and everything. This should be at the top of the list for it goes for both involved.
9. Having your own interests and feeling accomplished by them.
10. A woman with a higher octave and/or sensual voice. According to science, this makes a woman sound more beautiful, and they are perceived as younger.
11. Being able to admit when you are wrong or off track. People who think they are always right are very hard to communicate with.
12. Motherly instinct. After all, men do think about kids sometime in the future and a woman should be able to take good care of them.
13. Red lips. Yep!!!! They are associated with excitement and this is what gets men excited too.
14. They love a sense of humor. A woman should be able to get a man’s jokes and be fairly good at cracking him up once in awhile too.
15. Their company is always fairly enjoyable, regardless of the broken-down car or refrigerator. A constantly complaining partner is not what we all hope for, right?
16. The way she looks and dresses. My philosophy in dressing is; accessorize, accessorize, accessorize. Put something on that is eye catching, he will remember it.
17. They love flirty gestures. Notice I didn’t say lewd gestures but high school girl flintiness. Do you curl your lips or hold a pen in your lip when you’re trying to come up with an idea? Do you wink or raise your eyebrows when you say goodbye or make a smart remark?
18. Show a little skin. We are not talking about a pound of exposed breasts here or a muffin top midriff (both trashy and crude). Subtle works better, so just a peek is intoxicating.
19. You can hold a sexy stare without turning away and blushing. Takes a little mirror work but it is pretty intoxicating.
20. Men have hearts too. If a guy’s trying to catch your attention or exchange a glance, at least acknowledge the effort. You don’t need to date him or have his babies, but a simple acknowledgement that you noticed him can make his day, especially if you are a stunning woman.
