Tarot Card Draw #1: Seven of Wands, reversed
On the Seven of Wands, reversed, we see conflict and hand-to-hand combat with one of the underdogs looking to be wearing a crown. This tells us that no one is immune to stress and strife no matter their status in life. Money and status are not enough to protect anyone when negative choices and bad attitudes are at play. While it may seem that some people get away with anything, no one truly knows what goes on behind closed doors or what Karma may lay in wait for them later in the future. With the torches ablaze in the background, we are shown that continued struggles will persist unless you can find a way to avoid it. With this card falling in the reverse position for you, today, it is shown that by making better choices, we can often avoid conflict and negative situations. Choose wisely and seek out the answer so you can be better informed. Rather than allow the torches to be destructive, take one and let it light the way out of the darkness and negativity. Learn to pick your battles, as well, which will ensure a much better peace of mind. Once you learn what you can control and what you cannot, life will be so much easier.
Tarot Card Draw #2: The Hermit
Quite often when The Hermit turns up for you in a daily draw, it is indicating a time for you to step outside of any trying situation to simply take a beat and get your head and heart in order. This card suggests that some time alone, without any outside influence, will help you to get some things straight and to be more objective going forward following a break from life in general. We all need time alone at some point simply to regroup and recharge. The Hermit may indicate that you are entering a period of soul searching, self-reflection and spiritual enlightenment. At some point in adulthood, every one of us goes through at least one period of time when we need to just step outside of ourselves to find a greater understanding of who we truly are. It is possible you have been trying to gain an understanding of what your purpose is here on earth, your true calling and where you are headed in life. It may be a time to fully reassess your values and get your moral compass set back to true north. If you have been dealing with an overly stressful time or extremely difficult life situation, The Hermit may come up for you suggesting you just take some time to yourself to get back on track. Maybe you find yourself at a place in life where you simply want to withdraw from people and society in general for a bit. While there is nothing wrong with this as we all need a break from time to time, you must also know your limits and when the benefits of time alone begin to turn negative. When representing a person, The Hermit speaks of someone who is mature, wise, possessing of great knowledge. It also talks of a person either needing or seeking out the assistance of a counselor, therapist or some other mental health professional. The Hermit may come up to give you permission to focus on yourself and meeting your own needs for a while. And finally, this card may turn up in a daily draw as a warning that you are allowing yourself to be a bit too withdrawn from family, friends, society as a whole and all of this can lead to a very serious battle with depression if left unchecked.
Tarot Card Draw #3: Death
The Death card is not to be taken lightly, but know that when coming up in a tarot spread, it rarely indicates the actual death of someone. At times, it does, but this card also reminds us that the only true guarantee in life is death. This is made evident by Death looming so large over the three figures before him, one of whom is offering a gift of a flower to Death while the other two look to be pleading with Death. There are times when death is a welcomed release for those who have been suffering. But in a tarot spread, death usually is an indicator of some new and positive things to come. Death quite literally means a falling away of the old and the bringing in of the new. If looking to make any positive changes in your life, the reversed Death card says that the time is not quite right for that to happen. Do not let this reversed card discourage you, just know that something much better awaits you and will come your way soon. This applies to all areas of your life from personal connections to home to work, etc. The two figures pleading with Death know that he can bring goodness into their lives and they are hoping for the best. The figure presenting Death with a gift is grateful for the stripping away of the negative situation which has been replaced with positive.
