Achievement and Fulfilment on the Horizon with The World Tarot
When the World tarot card shows up in any reading, I know achievement, fulfilment and completion is on the horizon. What you have been putting out there in the Universe, working on, manifesting or visualizing, it about to become a reality. The World card usually represents life milestones such as a graduation, a marriage, the birth of a child or finally seeing a long-desired goal or dream achieved. You feel on purpose, in the right place at the right time in your life plan. Everything has finally come together and you are feeling the love of the universe for you. It holds a great sense of fulfillment and success. Sometimes it is a labor of love you have worked on for a long time or you finally get that lucky break of perfect timing that changes your whole life to the better. Life feels good and full of hope, optimism and “I can accomplish anything!” attitude.
The World tarot card also is an invitation to look at what you have accomplished. Any supposed failures has brought you where you are in the present winning moment. Most of all what this card is to remind you to honor your achievements, tune into the spiritual lessons and ignore the ego chatter of what you have not (YET!!!!!) accomplished. Take the time to enjoy that triumphant feeling before you start worrying about creating the next!
The reversed World card always suggests you are seeking closure on a personal issue. It is a reminder to keep your real world in perspective and let go of the “someday” energy that keeps you from seeing what is in front of you here and now. Focusing only on you and releasing beliefs from your actions, that only other people will make you happy or you must make them happy first in order to have them want you. Worthiness is the big key word here. It is also a reminder that what when we earn our success, it is that much sweeter. The capability of meeting the challenges made to make that dream happen is what builds character and feeds the soul’s desire to experience it all.

In general, this card is about completion. You have done the work and now you are seeing that you are moving into a completion stage. If you have been trying to create a project or a desired dream for a long time, this card can also represent feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders because it is not here yet.
Career, Money, Health, Spirituality
Career: In terms of your job, the World card can represent that you actually do feel like you are carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Working long hours with little recognition and far less money than you are worth. Most of these scenarios are due to your own making, matching the energy of your self-worth. Try some affirmation tracks, read books or whatever it takes to move your energy to know you are an awesome employee and deserve it all.
Money: The World card showing up is an indication that finances are going to take a turn for the better. If you feel that money flowing into your bank account has been slow or has stopped, you will see those blocks taken down and suddenly find yourself with plenty of money opportunities. When that money turns around to the better, keep an eye on that feeling of “sitting on top of the world” and stay wise with your spending.
Health: This card is a good sign that your health should be showing a great improvement. If you have been dealing with a chronic health issue, the World card shows you should expand outwards from the traditional medical way of treatment. Maybe it is time to see a holistic naturopathic healer and be open to other forms of addressing your health issue. The World represents that there are a variety of healing options out there, maybe it is time to choose another healing path along with your Western medicine advice.
Spirituality: When the World tarot card shows up in your search for spiritual answers, it is more than likely you will experience some clear insights and “Aha!” moments from the most mundane sources. Most people think that a spiritual awakening only comes from a moment of a huge white light appearing with a message, an angel materializing before you, a near death experience or an avatar giving you a life changing (although they do happen). The reality is, awakening to the world around you usually comes in small happenings and messages. All you have to do is be alert to the guidance they bring.
