Ariana Grande Manchester Benefit Sold Out In Under 6 Minutes

Tickets for Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester benefit concert for the victims of the recent terror attack at Manchester Arena, went on sale Thursday. There were roughly 45,000 tickets available for the show and as the Twitter account for the concert confirmed, they had all been purchased in under six minutes. Fans who were at the original concert were offered free tickets by registering with Ticketmaster UK, though it appeared some were unable to get any. “We understand that there are a number of fans who didn’t receive an email this morning with regards to free tickets for One Love Manchester,” Ticketmaster UK said in a statement online. “We worked through the night and verified thousands of original bookings although there were some we could not verify.” “We would like to reassure any fans that were at the show, they will receive a free ticket for One Love Manchester, provided we can verify their initial booking,” the statement continued. Fans needed their original booking confirmation in order to be verified. Ticketmaster UK also took action against those who tried reselling their tickets by canceling their orders. Proceeds from the benefit show, which will take place On June 4th at the Emirates Old Trafford stadium, will go to Red Cross’ We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. According to People, the concert is expected to raise over $2M for the victims of the tragic attack and their families.

Ariana Grande’s Manchester benefit concert will be a global event. The show features a litany of big names like Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Niall Horan, Usher, Pharrell Williams and scheduled to be aired on networks in 38 countries across five continents. In the wake of the horrific Ariana Grande concert bombing, fans and the industry face tough questions. Grande first announced her Manchester show on Monday, May 29th, one week after an attack at her concert killed 22 people and wounded dozens more on May 22th. In an open letter that she posted to her social media accounts days after the attack, Grande urged her fans to not be deterred from live concerts and music events and emphasized the importance of music as a way to unite differences. “I don’t want to go the rest of the year without being able to see and hold and uplift my fans,” she wrote, adding, “Music is meant to heal us, to bring us together, to make us happy, so that is what it will continue to do for us.”

Unfortunately, Terrorism Is Now A Possibility Wherever People Gather In Small Or Large Numbers!

Susan Z’s Conclusion:

This concert truly shows how the music business holds their own when it comes to being aware of world politics and social injustices. I feel Grande really cares for her fans and is horrified her concert will now forever be associated with this senseless act of terrorism.

Nine of Swords:
This card is of depression. I believe the card speaks for itself of how everyone is dealing with this incident.

Five of Pentacles: Inverted (Upside Down)
This card is about low self-esteem and poverty mentality of “poor me”. Being inverted I feel this shows what happens when these individual qualities mix with radical, entitled, self-righteous violence.

The Empress: Inverted (Upside Down)
This card is a loving, motherly energy with a strong feeling of privilege and status. Since inverted, I believe this is Grande’s outlook on getting her priorities right. She is a pop star after all and this is some harsh reality she is facing while doing what she loves.
