Will Beyoncé and Jay-Z get what they want?
The Wolstein Center on the campus of Cleveland State University was the place to be if you wanted to see Beyoncé and Jay-Z in their finest form. I’m sure that a good time was had by all as the audience watched some of their favourite pop stars use their celebrity to influence the voters. (Again)! Apparently, some of the party goers didn’t even realize that Mrs Clinton would be there also to see the audience enjoy her free gift!
Jay-Z took turns on-stage with the likes of Big Sean, and J. Cole and of course his wife who performed a six-pack of songs and looked the part wearing a polka-dotted pantsuit and a brimmed hat. She gave a heartfelt speech about the importance of voting how she wished for her daughter to grow up seeing strong female role models whose possibilities know no limits. There were evidently no limits to her on-stage smooching with Jay Z.
Well done Mrs Clinton for digging deep and drawing out the ‘pièce de résistance.‘ Beyoncé is certainly someone you would like on your side if you wanted to win. Let’s look at the cards from the perspective of Beyoncé and Jay-Z in relation to whether they achieved their objectives, political or otherwise.

The couple drew the Eight of Wands, the Five of Hearts and the Hierophant.
The Eight of Wands shows the couple pulling out all the stops to get their message across to the audience. Of course, we might be sceptical around the whole politics of the event but like it or not, this power couple is political. This card indicates progress and this tells us that they will do all their power to get what they want.
The Five of Hearts represents despondency, the presidential race is not a forgone conclusion and the work is not yet finished.
The Hierophant shows profound commitment to their cause. The couple supported Mrs Clinton because tradition says that her political values are in line with their own.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z may well get what they want for themselves and their daughter, but the voters are the ones singing the tune right now and we’ll have to wait and see, but one thing is for sure, it won’t be through their lack of trying!
