With ‘Bridget Jones Baby’ hitting screens soon, does Renee want a baby herself?
Unless you have been living under a rock somewhere you will be aware that Bridget Jones is making a comeback to our screens. Only this time it’s called “Bridget Jones Baby”. As you can probably guess from the title Bridget is entering the world of Motherhood. But it has a twist to it as you would expect. There are three potential fathers. The storyline has a ring of familiarity as Mamma Mia has a similar theme. This movie seems to have all the ingredients to capture the imagination and keeps you guessing til the end.
Bridget Jones connects with so many women on so many levels because she deals with the insecurities that real women deal with on a daily basis. There is a part of every woman in the character as well as the what she goes through. Bridget actually manages to rise above the things which most women would worry about. Things like weight, age and finding clothes to fit or suit in a very judgmental world. She does it with a style that offers the women of the world some hope. And an escape from what they perceive society expects of them.
But what about Renee Zellweger herself? How does she feel about the prospect of motherhood in her own life? Well, in a recent interview she said she really hadn’t given it much thought. Renee reckons that she takes things as they come and deals with them as they arrive. Perhaps the pregnancy role has twigged her curiosity about the role of motherhood. But that’s one role that doesn’t come with a storyline, a script or a twist to it. The ‘take it as it comes’ approach is exactly what’s needed for motherhood Renee.
Master Psychic Vincent’s Verdict.
What do the cards say about Renee Zellweger and her alter-ego? Well, the Nine of Cups would point to the storyline quite accurately. 9 being for the pregnancy and cups being for the love and emotions surrounding the whole situation. It would appear Renee absorbed herself totally into this character and the actions around it. She did it so much that the cards are absorbing her make believe pregnancy.
But the Fool card gives an indication that it is not for real. It is like stepping off a cliff into the unknown. Here is something that you have to take a swing at. Don’t sit and think about it too much. You have to become it. The Three of Cups clearly defines a trio at the end. Is that a spoiler… well we will have to wait and see I suppose.
Will the movie do well? The Wheel of Fortune appears to shine on it. So it looks like it will be a hit in the eyes of those who follow the Bridget Jones story. This is one I will be rushing to see. It appears to have a laugh in the storyline and the world needs more laughter.
