Broadway star Laura Benanti is well known for her role as Louise in the 2008 Broadway revival of “Gypsy”. She appeared also in the stage musical “Women on the verge of a Nervous Breakdown” in 2010. For this performance, she won a Drama Desk Award. She even took on the role of twin sisters Alura and Astra in the TV series “Supergirl”. With a string of success to her name, she has now revealed her latest role, and it’s possibly her best.
Laura Benanti has revealed that she is about to become a mom. The Star revealed that at the age of 37, she is expecting a baby girl with her husband Patrick Brown. The couple married in 2015 and this will be their first child. Although this is a starring role played by many women since time began. As far as we know no one ever got an Oscar for it, and they all should. We feel that she will perform it with all the confidence and grace that she has her previous roles. They have suffered the pain of miscarriage before, so it is wonderful news. Hopefully, this will inspire others who have suffered the same awful experience.
