Kardashian/Jenner family riff? What family riff? More importantly, what to wear for the 2016 Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards aka the ESPY Awards? Who better to create a ‘risqué ensemble’,adding that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ than step-daughter Kim, whose white Rolls Royce was on standby in order to whisk her over to ‘Chez Caitlyn’ to assist in her hour of need. Former Olympic gold medalist, 66-year-old Caitlyn Jenner was honoured to honour the Best Teams and Athletes at this prestigious event held in Los Angeles. Wearing a white caped dress, not dissimilar to a previous maternity outfit of Kim’s, Caitlyn revealed a little flesh in this off-the-shoulder number, completing the look with silver strappy heels. They had fun each trying on different outfits and for Caitlyn. Sparkly, sequined, backless and fishtail gowns were lined up in her quest for the perfect outfit. Father-of-six Caitlyn received an honour of her own in 2015 when she was awarded the Arthur Ashe Courage Award wearing a Versace gown, accompanied and supported by her loved ones.

What do the cards say for Caitlyn today? She drew the Empress, the Eight of Pentacles and the Ace of Wands. There is a common misconception that the traditional female cards must portray the women and the masculine cards must portray the men. Not so! As with all Tarot readings and spreads, the cards are always read in context. The Empress shows Caitlyn rooted to mother earth, nurturing her femininity and the conception of her creative ideas. She wishes for all of her unconditionally loved children to be fortunate and blessed with the abundance she believes is their birthright and destiny. The Eight of Pentacles can be about money but I feel that in this instance it shows Caitlyn continuing on a learning curve about her own identity and the succinct details. She will eventually reach a point of serene contentment but I don’t think she is there yet, her time will come. The Ace of Wands indicates the next phase of Caitlyn’s life and her desire to further break down barriers and continue to move forward in a positive manner, anything of a negative nature that may have held her back will be left in the past. This card shows Caitlyn as the Phoenix arising from the ashes and making new ground. A new work project is revealed that will allow her to further consider her personal identity and how she may inspire others in the process.
