General Hospital Rumours are abundant that July will see Julian Jerome (William do Vry) landing in Hospital as a patient in mid-July. The Nature is all a bit of a mystery, but it looks like his past is catching up on him. Could it just be an illness or has someone had revenge? We will have to wait and see. The weird part will be if Griffin is left in a situation where he has to put his professional hat on and leave his personal feelings at the door. Not so easy to do, even for someone who is as forgiving as Griffin.
How would you feel if you were in hospital in bad need of treatment only to find out that your Doctor is the son of the Man you tried to have killed? I would say is would not be the most comfortable of feelings. Let’s just hope for Julian’s sake there is no need to go under anaesthetic. I wouldn’t feel very secure with someone who had every reason to finish me off, standing there with a syringe saying count to ten.

What do the cards say about the plot? Well it’s a soap, so it can go anyway, and it’s at the discretion of the writers so let’s just have a little fun. The Ace of Coins is money money money, and it’s always at the root of a problem, especially in a soap where there are gangster characters. The Seven of Cups, now what would a soap be without a love story with a twist? And the star card. This is the card for dealing with things that you have been sweeping under the carpet for far too long. It’s the perfect card for a drama to explode. It’s possible though, that in connection with this story line, The forgiving Griffin may be driven by his love for his father (the seven of Cups) to take revenge and deal with something that is yet unfinished (the Star card). This could get very nasty, but isn’t that what we like about the series? Watch this space.
