New Ghostbusters gets a whack from online critics

Online today the Ghostbusters Movie was getting a slap down over bad acting and amateur sets. No not from insecure males who take offence at seeing ladies in a role once made solely for them, but from another female. So it’s not a gender thing nor is it an attack on feminism. Personally, I don’t feel anyone’s gender should define their abilities, but it appears to be more aimed at the production.

The blame was aimed at the director Paul Feig for trying to replicate an already successful franchise, even to the point of him asking them to evoke the 80s look in the movie. It’s a bit mind wrecking, as at this stage, he could have brought it up to date and evoked the sons and daughters of the original stars to re-open the Ghostbusters company. Well that part was my take on it as it wouldn’t have seemed like they were trying to better anyone, but rather they were willing to be brave enough to blaze their own trail on an already successful track

Well as I always say the individual is a strange character because we all love different things. What one loves another will hate, but that is what makes this planet as diverse as it is. Regardless of what I say or anyone else has to say, my advice is: take yourself to the cinema, get some popcorn and a drink, sit back and form your own opinions on what you see and come away with your own interpretation of what the movie gives to you.

Master Psychic Vincent’s Verdict.

The cards that came up around this movie are based mainly around the cast, with the Four of Wands showing the energy they put into the show. They gave it their best, but like everything else, you need to have the best ingredients to bake the best cake. These actors only had what they were given to work with. The Temperance Card shows that all in all it is thought of in a light-hearted way by most, which is exactly what it should be taken as. It’s a comedy, made to make people laugh. Frankly in a world so full of anger, every bit of comedy is worth its weight in gold. The Ten of Cups shows a family feeling around the cast which reflects in what they send out to the audience. Well let’s hope it overcomes the critics, but at the end of the day, you will make your own choice when you see it.
