Well, poor Jennifer is struggling with her addiction and all the extra pressures that come with it. Addiction has her crying for help as she reaches out to Lucas. Throughout the show it takes you on a journey of the reason for her addiction, it would appear that she is still grieving the loss of Jack who died some years ago. In a dream state, she finds herself confronted with the ghosts of Jack who appears as a Jailer. Perhaps he is her jailer.
It’s the memory of him and the loss that has her trapped where she is. Jack’s spirit tries to get her to reflect on the person she once was, not the person she is today. Which leaves the viewer with the hope that the happy memories of the lady she once was will be the magic key to breaking the wicked spell of addiction.
As a psychic, I like the way this is portrayed. Those that we have lost are locked away in our memories. They can come to us in our hour of need if we simply remember the person they were, and how they would have approached a given situation. We remember them in their best form, and we gain strength from their presence. We must remember they have served their time on this side, and although they are there to guide us, we must allow them their peace and prove to them that we are able to cope. Let’s hope that Jacks spirit helps Jennifer to find peace in her life and deal with her addiction. Let’s watch this space and see how it develops
