I used to think that glam magic didn’t make much sense at all and was a bit childish or fantastic, however, as someone who loves to experiment, I gave it a go just for the sake of the experience and I changed my mind.
What is “Glam Magic”?
Well, it is a sort of magic that consists of applying cosmetics with an intention, using them to attract a determined goal. This is often used for beauty enhancing purposes, self-love and self-esteem work and romantic purposes, but its uses as as wide as the creativity of the practitioner!
Anything can be a magical tool and your make-up is no less! Let’s see some examples of how you can transform your routine, boost your self-esteem and be a bit closer to achieving your goals with glam magic.
How to use “Glam Magic”?
You can give power to about anything you imagine. A very common tool in glam magic are lipsticks for they are very visual, easy to apply and they often make us feel really good. The key, as it happens with everything, is intention! You can choose a lipstick that makes you feel confident, powerful, sexy, rich, professional… Whatever is that you want to achieve and charge it with your intention. If you are seasoned in magic you may want to engrave a sigil in your lipstick! If you are not, a simple incantation will do the trick. Write a simple enchantment and roll it around your lipstick while you put it between your hands and focus your intention. Your enchantment can be something like this: “As this colour impregnates my lips, the words I speak gain the power to convince.”

- Enchant your lipstick to make your words be remembered, to be persuasive, to get attention, to speak the truth, to communicate better, to seduce, to support, to convince, to say the right thing…
- Enchant your eyeliner or mascara to perceive lies, to increase awareness of potential suitors, to increase awareness of your environment, to see opportunities, to see other people’s intentions…
- Mix the colour associations with your intentions, particularly with eye-shadows’ shades! Use earthy colours and greens to increase wealth, oranges to invigorate, reds to seduce, black and grays to protect, blues to soothe, purples to gain insight and strengthen your intuition…
- Nail art is also a great way to incorporate this kind of magic. It allows you to use about every colour without making it too strident or weird or disrupting your look and you can even incorporate a sigil in your manicure!
- Creams, serums and the like are wonderful to work with affirmations of youth.
- Apply your cosmetics in an upward motion to bring it up!
