Good Wife Drama loses Archie Panjabi
Archie Panjabi has decided that she is leaving the Good Wife series much to the disappointment of her fans. Archie was interviewed by reporters at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Monday and when she was questioned about the drama, she told reporters that “she felt it was time to unzip her boots and step into another show”. Panjabi won an Emmi in 2010 for her role as the no nonsenses investigator Kalinda Sharma .
Archie acted in the first six seasons of the CBS legal series but left under a cloud of drama after fans spotted that Panjabi and Julianna Margulies didn’t shoot their final scene together. Of course, Archie was too respectful to say anything regarding this and that in itself only goes to show the lady has class, but she is moving on to newer pastures. Panjabi has now joined season 2 of Blindspot and as would be expected cannot divulge much about her role there.

Moving now is a good thing, as I feel that the danger of typecasting was quite real and it could stifle her opportunities in the years to come. The Hanged Man shows that she is willing to sacrifice her role for the greater good and her decision was not taken on a whim, but carefully thought through. We wish her well on her journey.
