Fortune or Guidance in Tarot Readings
There are two main divisions of tarot readings, “fortune” and “guidance.” Fortune tarot readings are focused around predictions of your future. Even then, your future is still in YOUR hands. If you do not like what has been predicted for you in the reading, you can always change your actions to create a new possibility.
The other type of tarot reader will do a reading designed to guide you spiritually and help you by showing alternative paths for you to follow. This type of tarot reader will usually use a title such as Spiritual Counselor, or Tarot Counselor. And of course, you have the combination of both.
A Tarot reading will tell you about events that could possibly happen if you make no changes in your path. What the cards will pick up is the energy you are in at the moment and if you stay in the same energy, regardless of how many readers you may go to, the outcome will remain the same.

It is only when you decide to shift and change your energy to the better that the tarot cards will pick up your changed energy and then the cards will show a different outcome for you. No reader is 100% accurate, a seasoned reader will tell you in honestly that the percentage is around 75% because your energy changes by the moment and that is what the cards and reader is picking up on.
As in all readings, the cards are not magick, they are just cards. The magick happens with the energy of who is using them and who is being read. It is sometimes mind blowing that before you even throw down the cards and have given out information on a certain outcome and then have the cards strongly support it.
You have to wonder sometimes if it is the cards directing the answers or your higher self just shuffled the deck for you to support your answer. Either way, to see how information is given through the tarot deck is definitely fascinating, fun and mysterious.

In truth, a tarot deck is just a deck of 78 cards until they are put into the hands of a reader who feels the energy from them and the person they are reading for. It can be learned and everyone has the gift, it is just about making the right match and how strong your gifts are. Unless you are unethical in your use of the tarot, I believe there are no bad readers, just sometimes not a good match of energy.

I have only been off on 1 reading i uave done i had just totaled my truck and had a concussion i was off just that one time every reading i have done before and after have i hit the mark each time especially with my oracle cards. Therefore, I have to disagree only to the statement that no reader is 100% accurate…the only time ive not been was after rolling a truck with 2 big boulders 4 times resulting in a concussion and 1 inconclusive reading.
