Jennifer Lopez has always been known as a multitalented entertainer, but she has agreed to take on her darkest role to date. She normally plays the underdog or the Hero of the movie, but this time, she is the baddy. She has agreed to play the part of “Griselda Bianco, The Godmother of Cocaine” She will be playing the part of Miz Bianco who revolutionized the US drugs trade in the 1970s and 1980s and became the biggest female member of the cartel even to this day.
It will be interesting to see how she blossoms into this role. Thankfully she has already made her mark in other less controversial roles over the years. So she is unlikely to be typecast a villain because of one movie. Especially as Griselda Bianco was no looker and Jennifer is stunning. My only worry would be to glamorize someone who was responsible for delivering nothing but death to the people, but Jennifer Lopez is a professional and I have no doubt that she will deliver a professional betrayal of this evil being.
