Keith Urban reveals conflicts in his marriage to Nicole Kidman.
After celebrating 10 years of marriage this year, Keith Urban has revealed that it’s not all been plain sailing. Apparently, Keith and Nicole have faced hurdles, just like a regular couple in a long term relationship. He has even admitted that he may not have handled relationship conflicts in the best way, jumping into the car and driving away at break neck speed just to avoid marital conflict. But now the country singing gentleman believes he has identified the strong foundations attributing his recent song ‘The Fighter’ to their relationship issues. So according to the song, Nicole needs him to stay with her and be close and to hear what she’s saying. Communication has made the couple stronger. Hallelujah! It seems that 49-year-old Nicole is not one to hold on to unhealthy emotions.
Keith believes that he is a better man because of Nicole and she helps him learn all the time when he listens to her. They married in 2006 and have two children, eight and five.
Nicole has said that after 10 years they continue to have a lot of fun together. Nicole has an adopted son and daughter with ex-husband Tom Cruise. She’s involved in a new film called Lion which tells of the story of Saroo Brierley, a 5-year-old Indian boy who was adopted by an Australian couple. Nicole plays the mother of Saroo and has said that the story is powerful, true and uplifting.
The film is scheduled to premiere in the US in November this year.
