Kurt Russell And Goldie Hawn’s First Date Was Interrupted by Police

As Kurt Russell shared that defining moment in the beginning of their relationship, it was memorable, to say the least. Sexy times were had and police were involved too! As much as we may hate the term “relationship goals,” there’s really no better way to describe Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. The couple who have been together for over 30 years have defied the odds of celebrity romances. During an appearance on Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show “Harry,” Russell dished on the night it all began. Russell and Hawn were filming the 1984 World War II movie “Sing Swift”. “I said, ‘You know, if we have to dance in this, you’re a professional dancer,” Russell recalled. “You know how to dance, but I just need to figure something out.’ She said, ‘We should go somewhere and dance to that kind of swing music.’ I said, ‘I’ll find that.’ The Playboy Club was the only place that had that. So, we went to the Playboy Club and I just immediately was having a great time with this girl, Goldie.” When the two left the club, they agreed their night was far from over. They wound up back at Hawn’s house, which was being renovated at the time. That’s when things started to get interesting. “We eventually found our way upstairs, looking around at imaginary furniture and we were in the imaginary bedroom, now, and we are realistically having sex when the police walked in, because we had to break into the place to get in.” Russell couldn’t help but laugh about the incident as he retold the story, noting it was “bizarre and weird.” “We were being told to go get a hotel room, which we did,” he said. And the rest is history.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have both been in show business since the 1960s and partners for more than half of that timespan so it was also only fitting that when they were inevitably added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, their stars would also be side by side. “Can we just get married? We’ve never had a celebration like this before,” Hawn, 71, joked at the ceremony. “That star is part of ‘yes.’ I really went through something then because I didn’t know what it meant to be a star when people didn’t know who I was.” “I said yes to Kurt Russell. I said yes to Bill Hudson, and without Bill I wouldn’t have had Katie and Oliver. I wish my mom and dad could see me,” said Hawn. Hawn has a new movie out Snatched, co-starring Amy Schumer. It has been 15 years since Hawn has appeared in a movie. Russell, 66, also gave an emotional speech that focused on his family and, most of all, Hawn. “I owe a special debt of appreciation to my family,” said the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” actor. “Thanks to my kids Boston, Oliver, Kate, and Wyatt. Any father would be blessed to be gifted with the lifetime you have brought me. Goldie, to you, I owe my wonderful life. Simply put, Goldie, I cherish you. All of the stars in the sky or the boulevard couldn’t hold a candle to that. There’s no one else I’d rather be next to than Goldie Hawn.” Aaaaw, who cares whether they never got married, how cute is that!

What Makes Russell and Hawn So Compatible for Over 30 Years?

Susan Z’s Conclusion:

Respect and humor. Sometimes karma allows two souls to find each other in a lifetime and share it all the way through supporting one another. I believe their relationship is one of those written love journeys.

Nine of Swords:
This card is sadness and depression. I feel it shows how they both feel when they are parted from one another. They just really do enjoy each other’s company.

Strength: Inverted (Upside Down)
This card is pretty self-explanatory. Being inverted, I would say they have been through some rough patches but both had the strength of character to bring their relationship back around to one of love.

The Fool:
This card is about trust, faith and optimism. That pretty much says it all about how they feel about each other. I believe they both absolutely, without doubt, know the other has their back no matter what.
