Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney. Still in love?
Gaga and Kinney ended their engagement earlier this year. As painful as it is to go over old ground Lady Gaga recently revealed to Howard Stern that the former couple still love each other. Maybe they were one of many casualties in the relationship department in the summer of 2016, but we really wanted these two to make it official or at the very least stay together long term.
Taylor famously proposed to Lady Gaga on St Valentine’s day in 2015 and despite the reality of their relationship being a little on-again off-again, no one really took the separations seriously because they believed that they were true soul mates on every level. Getting back together seemed inevitable. Let’s not be fooled by their ‘lack of commitment,’ many couples go on to have successful long term relationships and live together in harmony without the need to marry. We only have to look at Goldie Hawn for proof.
Gaga revealed to Howard Stern during their recent interview, and I quote, ‘I hate to sound like a hippie, but I kind of am one and so is he,’ ‘We love each other, that’s it. It’s just about life changes, and we all go through different stages and we’re focused on different things.’ At the time they cited career pressures as the reason for the split with Gaga asking fans to root for them. She said that they had ups and downs just like any other couple and were hoping to work things out. Three months on from the separation…
Stern asked how she would feel if Taylor moved on with someone new. Gaga said that she would not throw a party, although the emphasis and language was a little stronger than that.

The couple drew the Eight of Hearts, the Four of Wands and the Three of Swords.
The Eight of Hearts reveals an unexpected betrayal, let’s be very clear that betrayal does not always mean cheating. The reason given for the split was ‘career pressures.’ When the love is there and there is no issue around a third party or cheating, it is difficult for people to understand what the problem is. The former couple have a need to exist in harmony but this can only happen if a compromise is made. A choice was made to sacrifice the love relationship rather than a career.
The Four of Wands represents ambition and desire. Both are accomplished in their respective careers. This card shows that even in separation they have agreed to disagree. The love has not disappeared just because they are no longer romantically involved.
The Three of Swords was a very disappointing card to draw. The desire for freedom far exceeds the desire to remain together right now. Break-up’s are painful and fans and followers want answers and so the answer given relates to career. I don’t feel that work was the only barrier to the relationship.
I hope that the former couple are able to come to a compromise. It’s clear from the cards that they do still love each other but I do not feel that they are ready to reconnect romantically. Taylor and Gaga are wished the best.
