Insiders Say Melania Trump’s Relationship with Ivanka Trump Is ‘Frosty’
New insider details have emerged about the relationship between the first lady and Ivanka Trump. According to a new Vanity Fair report, multiple insiders claimed the first lady is “frosty” with Ivanka Trump. The report claims that Ivanka Trump, who is suggested to have an “intense personal will to power,” has gone a long way in stepping in for the first lady who has lived apart from Donald Trump for much of his early days of presidency. Other sources close to the first family also allege Melania Trump is wholly disinterested in her first lady duties and dragged to Washington for her husband’s political ambitions. “She never wanted this, and never had any interest.” Vanity Fair suggests the first lady did her “best” to ignore her new reality because she wanted to be home for her son, Barron Trump. Over the course of Trump’s 17-month presidential campaign, the first lady was absent at much of her husband’s rallies and “the speeches she gave could be counted on one hand.” Then there was the claim that from Trump’s view, Melania’s quiet, supportive, and unchallenging nature made her “the flawless mate” for him but do those qualities he likes so much in a woman work as a first lady?

The situation has now worsened by the fact that Melania, the real first lady still resides in Trump Tower, miles away from the White House while Ivanka Trump is steadily taking over more and more duties of the first lady. The Vanity Fair reporter writes: ” Two sources, the fashion industry and the media have noticed an icy coldness between the two”. The question being asked by everyone is; does Melania not want to be First Lady? Comparisons have not been lost on those watching this new drama unfold between Melania’s reluctance to fill the role of the first lady and Ivanka’s eagerness to fill it for her. Melania claims that her stay in Trump Tower is exclusively because of Barron Trump’s transitional needs and not because she is avoiding Donald Trump and her roles as first lady but reports reveal otherwise. There were also allegations claiming that the first lady was utterly miserable at the White House. “She is an independent woman who believes in our country, and continues her plans to serve as first lady with integrity and dedication” stated UpBeacon but as the old saying goes, “actions speak louder than words”. The move to the Whitehouse for Melania and Barron is scheduled to take place this summer but most bet takers say it won’t happen and she will still remain a “Presidential visitor” versus a full-time resident.
