Tarot Card Draw #1: Two of Swords

If you have recently been struggling with a big decision or one lay before you that may leave you in somewhat of a state of denial or avoidance, the Two of Swords may turn up for you in a daily draw. This card warns that you are consciously or subconsciously trying to avoid making a decision for a number of reasons. The decision may be quite big and potentially have adverse affects you simply do not want to deal with. You could be in denial about the potential that lay ahead. This card often speaks of one acting as an ostrich who simply sticks his or head in the sand to avoid certain issues. The decision before you may be stressful, difficult or painful and come with consequences you simply want to avoid at whatever costs. But the Two of Swords encourages you to find a way to compromise and simply make the best of it. It is time to call a truce when dealing with difficult persons be it professionally or personally. You could be at a major crossroads in your life or a stalemate on an important issue. This card also says it is time to face your fears and work to move forward. You could be caught up in a battle of loyalties or having to choose between two major professional opportunities, possibly you have been involved in two separate romantic situations and the time has come to make a difficult choice. The Two of Swords could indicate being caught in the middle or possibly being called upon to play mediator or help facilitate a compromise between opposing forces. Alternatively, the Two of Swords may turn up when you are allowing yourself to be blinded by the facts. Possibly you are unwilling or unable to see things from any other perspective than your own. Lastly, you may be choosing to avoid difficult emotions or the truth of a major matter.

Tarot Card Draw #2: Knight of Pentacles

The image on the Knight of Pentacles often evokes thoughts of success as we see a relatively young figure holding a large coin (pentacle) astride a gorgeous and regal steed. When this card comes up reversed for you as it did today, it indicates the very opposite. If you find yourself seeking answers about the character and possibilities of a potential new love interest and you get this card reversed in your daily draw, it is a warning to run, quickly, far away. Reversed, this card speaks of a person who is generally quite lazy and always taking full credit for the hard work and efforts of others. It can signify one who is given to extreme gambling and always looking to make a quick and easy dollar, usually at the expense of someone else. For a potential love interest, it indicates one of whom you will have to always take care financially and in every other way such as around the home as this person will not lift a finger to cook or wash a single dirty dish or article of clothing. If you are not seeking answers about a potential new love or other individual in your life such as your own child or a deadbeat parent and the Knight of Pentacles turns up reversed for you, it is as though it is holding up a mirror to your own behavior. How have you been acting in your professional life? How do you treat others, especially those who could potentially benefit you in some way? This card urges you to step it up and work hard, making an honest living through honest means and not at the expense of anyone else in any way be it through robbing, cheating or simply taking credit when it is not due you. Work hard. Make your own money. Take care of your own obligations.

Tarot Card Draw #3: King of Swords, reversed

The King of Swords, reversed, generally indicates a lack of structure, routine, self-discipline, power or authority. When this upside-down gentleman turns up in your daily draw, he warns that you absolutely must use your head and thoroughly think things through. He also signifies that you may be allowing any bit of power to go to your head and that your thought process may be somewhat askew and quite selfish, not to mention extremely demanding with very high expectations of others. Be careful that you do not allow yourself to become power hungry or overly demanding and abusive (mentally, emotionally, physically) of others. It will most definitely come back to bite you on the butt. Whether you are male or female, you need to just relax and get over your power trip. If you are dealing with any kind of legal matters, this reversed authority figure comes up to signify that things are most likely not going in your favor. If you are looking for a new job or possibly a new male romantic interest, be extra cautious when this card turns up as it most likely indicates someone headed your way with a lot of negative intentions and a very selfish overall demeanor. It signals of someone who is power hungry, manipulative and not at all caring or compassionate of others. He probably does not even have a good relationship with his own mother, or the woman tasked with his primary care as a child. As a potential romantic partner, he will most likely be controlling, aggressive, abusive, violent and quite oppressive. Run if you see him coming!

  1. The knight of pentacles card is not reversed and the description speaks
about the tarot card as if it is.

  2. Thank You and Happy New Year… the Knight of Pentacles always a very interesting (since the card depicts help and inspiration to move ahead with a plan or decision to carry an idea/project, job relationship or endeavor forward). I intuively give insight to others also as a Healer and intuitive.

However, this card did not actually cone out in the reverse. The reverse card would entail mean what is stated…
It’s OK we get the point.. and the Pentacle (a little Tarot Humor) to continue to work hard and be very vigilant in the company of others.

I sooo Love reading your insights as a Master.
    Thanks so much!!
