We had a Full Moon in Sagittarius this past Friday the 5th. Starting with the Full Moon, we have two eclipses this month, the first is the Lunar Eclipse of the Full Moon. The second is the Solar eclipse on the 21st with the New Moon in Cancer. It is often during a lunar eclipse that we become aware of what is influencing us through other people’s actions and like the shadowy undertones of an eclipsed moon, it allows us to see people in a different light. New moons are linked to beginnings and when eclipsed, they serve as checkpoints to your soul’s advancement and learning tools. Perfect energy for the Gemini, who is always stirring up their lives and others with brilliant new ideas or the willingness to jump into unknown adventures. Plenty of planetary contributions that will push the need to re-evaluate everything on a day to day basis.

Tarot Card Draw #1: Four of Swords (Reversed)
The Four of Swords is normally looked at as a card that makes you want to go back to bed and pull the covers over your head. Feeling emotionally drained and possibly physically exhausted also. If we are looking to be honest about the general temperament with most everyone, it is overwhelmed and drained with all the changes in schedules, day to day routines, loss of income and not really having a firm answer to when your life will stabilize again, if ever. I don’t see this as a “pity party” card, as it shows up reversed. What that tells me about your general attitude today is feeling strongly about “getting the hell out of bed, putting one foot in front of another, rolling up your sleeves and doing what needs to be done. Moving forward in spite of not wanting to. Definitely a strong and courageous “fake it till you make it” day for you. Don’t get discouraged! Forward movement of any type, impacts negative stagnation with a powerful push to step aside and allow positive possibilities to show up for you.
Tarot Card Draw #2: King of Pentacles
Today will have you taking a good look at who controls your money going in and going out and how. The King of Pentacles carries successful energy when it come to finances and puts a lot of their time and thought about having it, losing it, keeping it or when to expand or tighten your belt when it comes to possessions and financial security. This male energy could be almost at any level of familiarity to you; partner, family member, friend, boss or co-worker? Possibly even an unexpected helping hand or advice given to feel more financially stable and secure through these chaotic times. It can also represent a thought that pops into your head about someone who can financially help you in making it possible to move forward in your prosperity. Don’t hesitate, don’t doubt, don’t try and figure out why you are thinking so much about them or what a stupid idea you just thought of…just follow through with it. It will be your higher self, helping you to open doors you might not have been aware of before.

With us coming out of a Full Moon on the 5th, you may still be feeling the effects of not being quite grounded. Since you pulled the Five of Cups, which is about disappointment and also letting go of old ideas, plans and willfulness in having what you desire, you may see a few opportunities to handle things a little differently than you would have before. Be conscious and aware when and if you start talking about the “can’t, won’t or don’t” path of emotions and any hopefulness for the future. Nothing ever stays the same forever and we all get disappointed in something or someone during our lifetime, including ourselves. Just hold onto the Universal truth that NOTHING ever remains the same. Make sure you try to turn that frown upside down. Who knows what could happen tomorrow? One phone call, a chance meeting or an amazing idea that pops into your head and everything changes for the better.
