Tarot Card Draw #1: Seven of Swords

The Seven of Swords may be showing up in your daily draw to bring your attention to someone in your circle who may be acting underhanded toward you, plotting, scheming, using manipulation to get what they want from you. It also is to bring your attention to fake friends and people who may be acting toward your detriment in some way. Someone may be trying to sabotage you, take advantage of you, slandering you. Your personal property may be at risk so take extra care to ensure your possessions are properly secured at all times, your doors and windows are always locked. Just be sure to guard yourself; however, it is much more likely your property and possessions may be at risk. In business matters, the Seven of Swords is a warning against lopsided deals, someone possibly trying to undercut you, scam you or possibly benefit personally from your hard work. In matters of the heart, it warns of cheating romantic partners, but please do not automatically assume that is what today’s draw is trying to tell as it will not hold true for every person. It is only a warning to pay attention to what may be going on with your partner. Occasional questions of their character, loyalties and honesty are part of human nature, but insecurities should not ever be a regular part of a serious romantic connection. Trust and communication are key. If you feel insecure, talk with someone to vent or look deep within yourself to try and understand why you may feel that way. Sometimes our insecurities are borne more by our past experiences rather than any actions by a current partner. Just please do not jump to conclusions. It is always possible that you may have people around you, romantic partners, friends or relatives, who are deceptive, manipulative or acting only in their own best interest, but not necessarily probable. The upside of the Seven of Swords is that it speaks of you acting in a strategic manner, calling upon your own inner strength and courage, always staying one step ahead, quick to think on your feet and often being incredibly resourceful.

Tarot Card Draw #2: King of Wands, reversed

If the King of Wands turns up reversed for your daily draw, it may be an attempt to get you to stop worrying so much about what other people may be thinking of you. It can also be to help you to be more focused on what needs to be done. It is possible you have made some promises that have not been kept for whatever reason and this card is telling you it’s time to step up and follow through. If you do not have the experience to do what needs to be done, it’s time to get it in some way such as increasing your current knowledge or skillset. Reversed King of Wands may also turn up warning of someone near you who has been, or very soon will be, acting in an incredibly controlling manner or uses brute force or threats of some kind to get his or her way. It is possible you have been acting in such a way but do not yet realize it. Let this card be a wake-up call to change your behavior or find a way to surround yourself with people who do not act this way toward you. This card warns of extreme imbalance in a relationship with one person wielding much power and often extreme force while the other person is quite subservient and is under complete control of their partner. When this card turns up in your daily draw, you are encouraged to look around and take stock of your circle as well as to monitor yourself and how you may be treating other people.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Ace of Wands, reversed

Reversed Ace of Wands may show up in your daily draw when you have lost your motivation, if you are a writer suffering from writer’s block or for an artist who has lost their muse. You may well have lost your desire to see something through be it a large task, a job, an assignment or even a relationship; just to name a few. You may be lacking enthusiasm, motivation, passion, initiative. It is possible you’ve lost your passion for something you once truly loved and enjoyed. If any of these previous things apply to you, then it is time to take charge and get back up on the horse and find a way to soldier on! You gotta get your head back in the game and make some awesome plays to get yourself back to where you most want and need to be. On the flipside, reversed Ace of Wands may show up for you if you are a bit too much for some people to handle. It is possible the reverse of these previous statements applies to you in that maybe you are too passionate about a project, something or someone and people are greatly put off by the enthusiasm, excitement or how incredibly motivated you may be. When it comes to matters of the heart, reversed Ace of Wands indicates delays in your progress or a flat-out lack of progress; it can indicate setbacks and possibly even some people actively working against you and your romantic partner. Unfortunately, this card may indicate a new business or professional venture is doomed to fail. With financial matters, reversed Ace of Wands is almost always a bad omen to draw. This is not at all the time to take chances with your money.
