Tarot Card Draw #1: Ace of Wands, reversed
Reversed Ace of Wands may show up in your daily draw when you have lost your motivation, if you are a writer suffering from writer’s block or for an artist who has lost their muse. You may well have lost your desire to see something through be it a large task, a job, an assignment or even a relationship; just to name a few. You may be lacking enthusiasm, motivation, passion, initiative. It is possible you’ve lost your passion for something you once truly loved and enjoyed. If any of these previous things apply to you, then it is time to take charge and get back up on the horse and find a way to soldier on! You gotta get your head back in the game and make some awesome plays to get yourself back to where you most want and need to be. On the flipside, reversed Ace of Wands may show up for you if you are a bit too much for some people to handle. It is possible the reverse of these previous statements applies to you in that maybe you are too passionate about a project, something or someone and people are greatly put off by the enthusiasm, excitement or how incredibly motivated you may be. When it comes to matters of the heart, reversed Ace of Wands indicates delays in your progress or a flat-out lack of progress; it can indicate setbacks and possibly even some people actively working against you and your romantic partner. Unfortunately, this card may indicate a new business or professional venture is doomed to fail. With financial matters, reversed Ace of Wands is almost always a bad omen to draw. This is not at all the time to take chances with your money.
Tarot Card Draw #2: Six of Pentacles, reversed
It is difficult to find the good when the Six of Pentacles turns up reversed in a daily draw, but not impossible. This card may just be showing up to bring your attention to some of your own manipulative actions or as a warning someone may be trying to take advantage of you in some way. That is about all of the good, unfortunately. Yet, it still can be used as a lesson learned situation in that it warns of someone being overly generous toward you with expectations of something, though unspoken at the time, in return. A professional superior, investor, banker may be expecting you to jump through hoops to obtain whatever it is you may desire or need. Be careful submitting to this situation as it could very well lead to them only expecting more and more of you. This card often warns of ulterior motives, either someone else’s or your own. It signals extreme manipulation, again either by you or someone else involved. It denotes a lack of generosity on your part or unscrupulous charities and those working on the behalf of persons less fortunate. They may be using that work to benefit themselves much more so than those they purport to be helping. You or someone else may be greatly abusing power or authority in some way be it professional, financial or even in personal relationships on every level. Do not allow yourself to be a brown noser and do not expect others to be such toward you. It often warns of being gullible, even falling victim to humiliating situations or sacrifices. Maybe you are taking advantage of someone’s good nature or them yours. For those looking for love, reversed Six of Pentacles warns that if you have a mean or controlling nature, you are sending out nonverbal ques for others to run as fast as they can in the opposite direction. Check yourself. When inquiring about someone you recently met and are wondering if they would make a good romantic partner, this card screams, “NO!”. You need to run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. When it comes to professional matters, the Six of Pentacles reversed is a very strong warning that now is not the time to take risky or unnecessary chances with your employment or in your business. In contract negotiations, this card warns to thoroughly read the fine print as if the deal sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. In finances, if you are doing well, it is time to pay it forward and not be stingy. At the same time, do not allow yourself to fall victim to those who will only expect more if you give of yourself or your time/money in some way. They will take advantage of you. Lastly, reversed Six of Pentacles may pop up to help you see you may be being underpaid and undervalued professionally. It is also a strong indicator to heed someone else’s financial advice or that assistance is available if you only look.
Tarot Card Draw #3: Death
The Death tarot card often makes people catch their breath when pulled for a daily draw; however, it is rare that it means actual physical death. Only three times in all my many, many years reading tarot has this card warned of someone’s passing when I pulled it in a spread. About 99.8% of the time, Death speaks of something old in your life that is no longer serving a purpose falling away to make room for something much more positive. Much like The Tower, Death upright speaks of transformation, potentially big new beginnings and big changes coming your way, especially when it shows up for your daily tarot draw. Unlike The Tower, the changes spoken of with Death are less scary and the process of the change is more pleasant, though it can still bring about a bit of a shock. If you have been struggling to make a much-needed change, Death may be popping up for you to give you that little nudge to step up and take action. In matters of the heart, Death could be telling you that your current romantic connection has ran its course and it is time to move on. It can also indicate that you need to take charge of a negative romantic situation and do what needs to be done to make it better or to get out if you have recently found yourself suffering ANY kind of abuse be it emotional, mental, verbal and especially physical. Death may also show up indicating it is time to seek out some relationship counseling. For singles who are looking, now is the time to shake things up and reevaluate what you are desiring/looking for. You may need to start being more proactive or start taking the initiative in approaching new potential partners. Death can also speak of some pleasant surprises such as engagement, an unofficial romance becoming official, pregnancy (if you are in a good place for it) or any other exciting turn of events. Professionally, you need to make some changes that will benefit you in the long term. It is time to set some serious goals and take charge of your career, or even choose a path and stick to it. Struggling financially? Then maybe look into swapping services or something you may have of value. See if you can make a trade for something you need or even just want. As with physical death, the changes spoken of by Death may bring up some level of grief for you. Embrace that grief and find some positive ways to work through it.
