Tarot Card Draw #1: Knight of Swords, reversed
When the Knight of Swords reversed appears in your tarot draw, you should be very mindful of everything that is going on in your life. The most common reason for this card to appear is that you have been given an incredible opportunity, one which you have likely been wanting for quite some time and will allow you the opportunity to demonstrate your true potential, but you are failing to see the opportunity being presented to you. This card can also signify negative qualities you or someone near you possesses, such as insincerity, obsession or rudeness. You are suppressing an opportunity for greatness, whether it be greatness in achievement or greatness in your attitude, and this is a warning to be more mindful. Sometimes, this card can also indicate a romantic partner who is obsessive or possibly abusive. If you have recently entered into a new romantic relationship or if you have recently been questioning your relationship, this card might be presenting itself as a warning to be more alert in your relationship, or to break off your relationship before you end up being hurt. Be mindful of things your partner says or does that cause you to feel nervous or anxious, even if it is something small. Sometimes even the smallest and most subtle red flags will rapidly grow into something much more dangerous. You might also be concerned about your career, and even feel as though you are stuck. If you have been questioning an advancement, or have otherwise become comfortable and relaxed your skills, the Knight of Swords reversed could be trying to open your eyes to a new opportunity that you have somehow overlooked. You might have read or heard something recently that was entirely out of context so you did not previously relate it to your own life, but it actually did pertain to you, and you should take the opportunity to use your personal skills to your advantage.
Tarot Card Draw #2: Eight of Cups
The Eight of Cups, upright, shows us a lost and broken woman choosing to walk away from the opportunities represented by the neatly stacked wine chalices behind her as well as the full moon which could potentially light the way for her. This card quite literally speaks of the many choices each of us has but are often oblivious to. She could expend the effort to turn around, climb the stairs to opportunities and a better, more positive and fulfilling life. Instead, she is choosing the easier path – the path of least resistance — thus leading to negativity, disappointment and despair. Sometimes opportunity is just behind us and all we need to do is choose to turn and look. This card showing up for you today is urging you to open your eyes wide and look all around for untapped opportunities and potential. At times, you may be holding yourself back due to self-limiting beliefs. Shake those off and know that pretty much anything is possible with the right mindset. I often hear from people asking when something good is going to happen in their lives. My answer is always the same: Something good will happen when you make it happen. Be more proactive and take charge of your own life. Make something good happen. Turn around and let the full moon lead you out of the darkness.
Tarot Card Draw #3: Seven of Pentacles
On the Seven of Pentacles, we see goods being traded for money which can often indicate your hard work and efforts will soon pay off and you will be reaping the rewards of your figurative or literal harvest shortly. Whatever you have been working so hard toward will be coming to fruition in the very near future. The Seven of Pentacles falling upright in any spread is always a wonderful card to receive. It is an omen of success as well as attaining goals and ambitions. Now is the time to visualize and manifest the things and/or situations you most desire. Zero in on what you want and do what needs to be done to make it happen. This card can also indicate being at a crossroads and struggling with which direction to take so it is time to step back and do some reassessing of your situation and in some cases your life overall. As with most all cards either upright or reversed, there is at least one minor concern associated with this card. It may come up if you have been stalling on a project or financial decision. Stop dragging your feet and make a decision then stand by it.
