North Korea Response to Trump’s Suicide Mission

Saturday was the day when the war of words between North Korea and the USA became an actual war. To follow up Trump’s passionate speech about protecting the country, the US military stepped in. Bombers flew into the water, east of North Korea. It might have been a final warning, as if the President was saying to North Korea: I keep my word. And a threat is a threat, which he clearly intends on keeping, too.
Needless to say that the receiving party wasn’t thrilled about this. In fact, Ri Yong Ho, North Korean Foreign Minister fired back – with words (this time). He called Trump’s attempt at scaring them a ‘suicide mission’. He also added, that if “innocent lives of the US are harmed because of this suicide attack, Trump will be held totally responsible.”
Although, Trump argues that he is the one on a suicide mission. He tweeted (no surprises there) the following: “Just heard Foreign Minister of North Korea speak at U.N. If he echoes thoughts of Little Rocket Man, they won’t be around much longer!,”
Probably it will be down to who’s got bigger and more powerful weapons in the end. For now, (hopefully) the two countries will stick with firing words at each other. The real problems start when these cease to be empty threats.
So, is there anything to worry about, or they are just trying to show who’s the ‘boss’? What do these threats means for both countries? And most importantly, for the citizens? Let’s draw a card for each.

Psychic Timea’s Verdict:

Eight of Cups for US: The current situation can’t carry on the way it is right now. The time of sitting back and letting others control things is over. No more sleeping, no more obliviousness. Time to take action. Radical changes are in the cards, which describe what’s happening perfectly.

Nine of Cups for North Korea: The US might be powerful, but North Korea doesn’t lag behind, either. They get what they want, when they want it. Maybe the leaders are becoming a bit cocky, thinking they have already won. But the war isn’t over yet.

Ace of Swords for US citizens: Trump made a great speech, he really did. But what people really need now is to know that they will be safe. They need to know the truth, without dangling the honey-string in front of them. After all, this is all supposed to happen in their favour, right?
