The boy-next-door buys Playboy Mansion for $100million.

Hugh Hefner has sold the Playboy Mansion for a staggering $100million. The property was purchased by the next door neighbor Daren Metropoulos who bought his own neighboring property back in 2009 for a trifling $18million. A snip!  Mr. Metropoulos was drawn to the legacy of the mansion as well as the design of this humongous Gothic-Tudor style property. It boasts 22 rooms including a wine cellar, a games room, tennis and basketball courts, a waterfall and a swimming pool; all sitting on 5.3 acres. It’s reportedly been agreed that Mr.Hefner may live in the Los Angeles mansion until he dies. He currently lives there with his 30-year-old wife Crystal Harris. What’s next for the Playboy tycoon?

Véronique’s Verdict

Hugh drew the King of Wands, the Ace of Pentacles and the Eight of Pentacles. The King of Wands very much describes Hef in the mansion. He has a sense of maturity about him and he is a great lover of tradition and old-fashioned family life. He can be autocratic but is generally sure that he knows what is best for all around him. There is a dynamism within him. He will always approach situations as a leader. The Ace of Pentacles is the financial reward. Although he has offered no comment on the sale of the mansion, we are being shown the opportunity for money that has not been worked for. I feel that it will be business as usual for Mr & Mrs Hefner. He will continue to undertake any work for its own sake rather than what he may gain. There will be a period of serene contentment following a job well done.
