Prince Harry Reveals That No One In The Royal Family Wants The Throne

Well, that’s a royal pickle, isn’t it? Prince Harry along with Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, are preparing to modernize the British monarchy. But that doesn’t mean anyone actually wants to wear the crown. “We are not doing this for ourselves but for the greater good of the people,” Prince Harry recently revealed in a candid interview with Newsweek. “Is there any one of the royal family who wants to be king or queen? I don’t think so, but we will carry out our duties at the right time.” Throughout the course of the revealing interview, Prince Harry reiterated his desire to maintain a normal, “ordinary life,” which comes from his late mother, Princess Diana. “My mother took a huge part in showing me an ordinary life, including taking me and my brother to see homeless people,” he said. “Thank goodness I’m not completely cut off from reality. Prince Harry isn’t a royal royal, he’s a down-to-earth royal. You can catch him in Sainsbury’s stocking up on baguettes and granola, or so we imagine his cart containing. Prince Harry added, “I do my own shopping. People would be amazed by the ordinary life William and I live.” Sometimes, when I come away from the meat counter in my local supermarket, I worry someone will snap me with their phone. But I am determined to have a relatively normal life and if I am lucky enough to have children, they can have one too. Even if I was king, I would do my own shopping.”

As for the future of the monarchy, a source told the magazine that the younger royals want to focus more on particular charities. Instead of the thousands supported by the royal family, of which the Queen is patron of more than 600. They want to “concentrate on specific charities they research thoroughly” and “get involved in on a regular basis.” Some might call it lazy; others prefer the more focused approach as a way of getting with the times. “The monarchy is a force for good and we want to carry on the positive atmosphere the queen has achieved for over 60 years, but we won’t be trying to fill her boots,” Harry explained. We use our time wisely. We don’t want to turn up, shake hands but not get involved. The Queen has been fantastic in letting us choose. She tells us to take our time and really think things through.” Which makes it sound like Her Majesty is on board with the direction they’re going. But as far as Harry is concerned, there may be immense responsibilities that come with this life he and his brother William were born into but they try to keep things as normal as possible. Something they learned from their late mum, Princess Diana.

The Younger Royals Will Definitely Bring Change To The Monarchy In A Good Way

Susan Z’s Conclusion:

Princess Dina paid a dear price in her own personal life but you have to honor her legacy she left with her children and brought change to the monarchy they resisted so strongly when she was married to Prince Charles. The Royals, including the Queen, are well aware of the rule if you do not change and adapt to changing times, you die out, fade away or are eliminated altogether.

The Chariot: Inverted (Upside Down)
This card is overcoming fears and moving forward. Since inverted, I believe there was great resistance to bringing modern times into the monarchy, as we saw the isolation Diana felt not being brought up royal. But her heirs are changing the rules anyway.

The Moon: Inverted
This card is creative potential and seeds of new growth. I believe the card is self-explanatory on how the younger generation will rule and live their lives regardless of past royal traditions.

Four of Pentacles: Inverted
This card is of financial issues and materialism. Since pulled inverted, it supports Harry’s statement of wanting to live a normal life and not be set apart by his wealth or position.
