Fear of the Zika Virus forces Rihanna to cancel Lollapalooza Columbia concert
Word out today is that Rihanna has pulled out of the Lollapalooza Columbia concert over concerns about the Zika virus. The Organisers are thought to be upset over this as they are having trouble finding another lead act to fill the slot. The Zika Virus is especially dangerous in pregnant women where it causes birth defects, notably with babies being born with small heads. The long term effects to these children would be yet unknown as the Virus seems to be a new phenomenon.
She may get slammed for it, but at the end of the day nothing is worth putting your health at risk, or the health of any children you may have. Hopefully, scientists will come up with a vaccine to this horrible virus soon so the people living in these regions can return to normal, sooner rather than later.
