RIP Anton Yelchin

It was with great sadness that the news broke this weekend of the death of Anton Yelchin. This talented young actor was only on the doorstep of his life when it was sadly ended in a terrible accident. Anton was only 27 years old and yet had achieved more in those 27 years than most do in 90 years. It appears that he was killed in his own driveway as his own car rolled down the hill pinning him against a security fence.

Sometimes even those of us who believe in a hereafter and a higher force who governs everything that happens; have to stand back in disbelief at the apparent injustice of life. When old people pass over, they do so with a lifetime of achievements and memories. When a young person passes over, they leave us with the regret of what they could have been, and all the things they could have achieved.

All the whys in the world will not answer the question of why such talented young people are taken. Perhaps there is a bigger plan that we cannot understand, but in this world it happens, and we mortals must simply accept that it does. It once again rings through that regardless of age, every day and every hour is precious. Never waste a day on anger or hate, and never let the sun go down on your anger. To the family and friends of Anton Yelchin, we extend our deepest sympathy may he rest in peace.
