Serena Williams, Queen of Center Court to sue Wimbledon ?
Seasoned tennis ace Serena Williams was unimpressed with the slippery weather conditions during her latest attempt at the Wimbledon title, threatening to sue the referee Andrew Jarrett for failing to maintain a safe environment for the players. However, after winning the match she did stress, later that day, that she has no desire to sue Wimbledon, but she was evidently not happy when she made the statement going on to admit that sometimes things are said in the heat of the moment.
Serena was the women’s singles Wimbledon champion in 2002, 2003, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015 and is the hot favourite to win the 2016 tournament.
Véronique’s Verdict
Well, is Serena Williams going to win the 2016 ladies singles Wimbledon tennis championship? Let’s see what the cards say. Serena drew the Two of Hearts, the Eight of Wands and the Sun. The Two of Hearts is the card of relationships, mutual affinity and partnership. Serena is a fine athlete who plays with strength and force and elegance. Poetry in motion. The Eight of Wands shows that although Serena is a victor in her own right, she is also very much part of a team. Not one to procrastinate, this American beauty is very much an athlete who works towards her objectives with passion, in a swift and proactive fashion. The Sun shows Serena as a dynamic and influential leader who inspires many. She shows how things are done and leads by example with warmth and determination. Serena has lifted the trophy six times already, let’s hope 2016 turns out to be Serena’s lucky number 7. Good luck Serena!
