Shannon Doherty shares her brave cancer fight images on Instagram. It’s the dreaded word we all fear most. Called the C word by most who dread its name and Cancer by those of us who have had it enter our families and destroy. How people deal with it is individual. Each will handle it their own way, but they reckon there are three stages. Denial, Anger and then acceptance. Once acceptance has arrived, it is time to deal with it.
Actress Shannon Doherty is currently fighting this battle and bravely shared her photos with the world via Instagram at one of the major turning points. The moment she shaved her hair off. Some would ask why is this the bravest moment? From a Cancer patients point of view, they are taking control of the situation. Shaving the hair before it falls, is like telling cancer, I am in control here and the fight is on. I know from personal experience having family members with this awful illness, that there is comeback. There is survival and there is life after Cancer.
