Sheila E almost didn’t go to the Prince BET awards.
Sheila Escovedo or better known as Sheila E is a lady of many talents. She is an American drummer, singer and percussionist who has worked with Prince, Billy Cobham, Lionel Richie, George Duke and Ringo Star to mention a few. Her close connection with Prince made the last few months very hard as the two had worked on many albums together, including “purple rain”, “let’s go crazy” and “erotic city”. This is why she almost bailed out of the Prince BET award tribute.
