The Tarot deck was originally created for trick games in the Egyptian era and then developed as a divinatory, esoteric & occult tool. But what we have discovered is the Tarot is a powerful tool for personal growth and spiritual exploration. What many people fail to realize about the Tarot is just because you ask the cards for advice, it doesn’t mean things are going to miraculously turn around. Fixing your life is a hands-on project but the Tarot can direct you in many ways. They are not magic but a divinity tool in partnership with your higher self and also the reader who can help you sort out your choices and options. You don’t have to memorize the deck, although the more you use them, the more familiar you will get with what they are relating. Life has too many variables to do that but the cards can direct you in what choices can be made and a possible outcome.
