By far, the number one, most frequent topic of any person seeking answers from a psychic pertains to matters of the heart. This week in Tami Time is no different as Wendy emails about her struggles with whether her on again, off again love interest of seven years has changed as he claims, Jade longs for more than her high school sweetheart of a decade ago is willing to give her, Claire is curious if a certain someone in her life will ever change and Claudette wonders if she will find a life partner.

“Hi Tami, I know you must get tons of questions but I hope you’ll find mine. I’ve been in an on again off again relationship for a little over 7 years. I had dreams most of my life of a man I believe to is the one I’m suppose to spend my life with, but I also just thought he was a figment of my imagination until I saw him. We got together, a lot has happened, he hasn’t been faithful, and for some reason I forgive him and stay…hes been incarcerated for the last 2 years and will be getting out wants to be together yet hes still lying about something and has yet to come clean. My heart says stay n give yet another chance because he says hes changed, my head says let him go…so please could you drawn me a card. Thank you so much …take care.” – Wendy

I am very sorry to have to say, Wendy, that this man has not changed. In fact, what I am being shown through the Five of Pentacles is that upon his release, things will be pretty good between you for about five to seven weeks then he will do a deep dive back into his old patterns and behaviors.

One thing I do want to point out, though, is that choosing to walk away from him is not denying the dreams you had for so long. While dreams do have significant meaning at times, there are also many other factors at play when building a life with someone and he may well have simply served his purpose in your life.

“Thank you for the time you take to help us fans through our issues. I am living with my high school sweetheart. He offered me to room with him when I told him I was having living issues. We’ve been on and off for a decade. I moved in and he asked me to be his girlfriend again. He knew I was pregnant with an ex i just ended things with. However, in about a few weeks he got cold feet because the baby is not his, and broke it off with me for that reason. I was devastated because I thought we were finally going to get a fresh start to be happy. I was ready to put 100% effort of faithfulness this time. After he broke it off with me, we decided I’d move out. We’re still friends, and he isn’t rushing me out until I find a place for my daughter and I. While I’ve been here we have been intimate, and he’s real good with my daughter. I took that as mixed signals and got attached/feelings for him again. I expressed that to him, but he still rejected me. I want to know why he does not want to commit and put a label on us. However, he plays house with me. We recently decided to not be intimate at all because I get my feelings involved, but he does not. Please just tell me does he have someone else, is he waiting for someone else? Why doesn’t he like, and even love me anymore. It hurts, but I will move on. I need to move out asap because being here with him reminds me that I can’t have him as a lover. Hon, you comment on him playing house. For him, it really is play because he is not emotionally invested as you are. He is able to maintain the distinction between simple roommates and friends-with-benefits whereas you read way more into it because you want more, and you want it with him.

A great many men, and quite a few women, are able to completely detach emotionally when it comes to sex. For such people, it is purely a physical act much like playing a sport only with a much happier ending.

Through your statement about being ready to put 100% effort into faithfulness, I am seeing this has been a problem for you in the past. Most likely a pretty big problem. That is part of the reason he no longer desires an emotional connection or anything more than what you share at this very moment.

I do not see that he is serious about any other person nor is he waiting for someone else. But he has chosen to move on from what you and he shared. He likes you and a small part of him will always hold some degree of love for you, but not ever in the way you so desperately want and need. I’m afraid your shared story is over, hon.

Oh, hon, I see such a wonderful holiday season for you this year. Girl, ANY opportunity you have to get out and socialize or just be around people between October 17 and January 6 absolutely must be taken.

The Empress, reversed, suggests you get a bit creative at how you go about meeting new people. This applies to both friends and potential romantic partners. Speaking more specifically with regard to potential romantic partners, enlist the assistance of some friends and/or new acquaintances to spread your wings as you look to have been holding yourself back a bit.
