Grief is something that touches every single one of us at some point in our lives. For some of us, it happens too many times. I very recently lost a very precious person. Countless times in the last month since her passing, I feel an overwhelming emptiness and simply cannot understand how she was here beside me one moment and now she is gone forever.

Grief is a process and it does not only follow the death of a person or beloved pet. It can happen when one loses a significant job or a much beloved car. This week, Catherine is grieving the loss of a romantic connection while Sandy, Sarah and Daniela are each grieving the loss of persons who are very special to them.

“My partner passed on May 7th, with my son and I at home. A few spiritual things have happened, I believe it’s him giving me signs, am I correct? ?” – Sandy

I am so terribly sorry for your loss, hon. I do feel that all of the spiritual things happening are your partner coming through and this is confirmed by The Fool, reversed .

“I am a spiritual person but with all the changes in my life my third eye has not been nearly as strong as it use to be. Basically ever since I became a mom of two beautiful children who are now 8 and 9. My thoughts, time and energy has been wrapped up in them. I know our gift is kinda like a mussel the more you use it the stronger it becomes and the opposite is true. I know it will come back and be strong again one day but for now I was hoping you could be my guide. My father passed away last year. I miss him dearly. We were always very connected. I understood him and saw him in a way most people did not. I would love to hear from him as I know he has things to say. I am constantly finding things that he gave me over the years (I keep everything sentimental) and I feel his love often. But my gut tells me he has messages for me that I’m not picking up on. Hon, it breaks my heart to sense how this is hurting you. But I am hearing that your father is frequently sending you messages that will soon make sense if you open yourself up to receiving them in other ways.

The Star, reversed, is telling me that you need to trust your intuition more. You do not need to access your third eye for what your father has been sending you, hon.

Messages are coming to you, but in a less obvious way. In fact, your father is expressing to me that he is intentionally making the messages less obvious. He is saying this in a jovial manner as though he is trying to trick you or tease you. He is a very playful person, at least as he is coming across to me now.

I feel a gentle, light-heartedness about him. He is asking that I express to you the following: release, transition, self-worth.

There is something that is not working for you that you need to release. Soon you will be going through a transition. Always know your self-worth.

Relax and look for more subtle signs because his energies are very strong around you.

I believed he was my soul mate and love him very much, but the break up came out of the blue and has really left me struggling.

The Devil came up for you, hon. This card speaks of you holding on to what you had with this man as well as you allowing your mind to go to some rather dark places regarding this man and how things ended between you.

He did truly care for you and love you, Catherine. Despite how things ended so abruptly, he will always hold some degree of love for you because of what you shared.

Much like grieving the death of someone, you are grieving the death of your relationship with someone whom you considered quite special. It is a process and cannot be rushed. You need to work through the pain and at times there will be anger and a lot of it. Just do not allow that anger to be turned inward on yourself in any way.

You and this man had a purpose for being in each other’s lives. That purpose has been served and as you begin to heal, that message will come to you.

Unfortunately, hon, I do not foresee the two of you getting back together as a fully committed romantic couple.

Hon, I am getting that you quite often feel Stacy near you and more than once, you thought you heard his voice. Because your pain and grief are still so strong, you always doubt what you’re hearing and feeling.

His spirit is strong around you, especially at night and he is laughingly telling me something about your shared bed. From what he is saying, I get that you either sleep on his side of the bed often, or that was a point of contention between you at times when he was alive. Either way, he thinks it’s funny now. Also, there is something about the 2:00 a.m. hour. This is when he is strongest around you. He is telling me that will make sense to you, if not now, it will soon.

The reversed Page of Cups came up when looking at your questions. This card tells me of the deeply rooted religious beliefs of so many people who were close to Stacy and how they all fear where he is because of how he was lost as you wrote. I would never say that this belief is wrong. I can only share with you what I am seeing, hearing and feeling around Stacy.

He is at peace. He is laughing and smiling which is something he tells me he did not do much of for the last seven months or so of his life. Hon, he is in a very good place now.
