Has Spielberg lost his magic touch with The BFG “Big Friendly Giant”?
Unfortunately for Steven Spielberg after all of his hit movies, he is now being credited with a flop. There are some who are wondering if he has lost his magic touch, but I would not agree with that one. His new movie BFG has seemingly flopped and for a Spielberg, this is practically unheard off. I for one will not be losing faith in the master of fiction movies, perhaps because I still believe there is magic in the world.
Some are saying that he has lost touch with his audience, but I don’t believe that. It just goes to prove that in this world, absolutely no one is above error. Anyone can fall, but the true measure of the man is how you get up and go again. I have no doubt that Spielberg will bounce back. As long as the human race have a good imagination and children can dream about things that adults have decided are not real, then I believe the Spielberg’s magic will prevail.
