Tarot Card Draw #1: Nine of Cups

In the Nine of Cups, upright, we see three people raising their wine chalices (cups) by the sea high up as if in celebration while plenty more chalices of wine are set out before them. The extra chalices indicate the many different reasons to celebrate that are found in each and every day. Through adopting an attitude of perpetual gratitude, you will open yourself up to be more mindful of all the wonderful things around you for which to be thankful, even in the darkest time. With having three people joining in on the celebrations, this tells us that we, as humans, are not meant to be alone. But rather life is better when shared with others be they friends or family. Some of us, such as myself, choose to not have a romantic partner or friends, but I do have children and grandchildren for whom I am always grateful. Humans, like dogs, are generally pack animals and life is meant to be shared. Looking back at our Nine of Cups, the vast, expansive sea is indicative of the many opportunities available to you through altering your thought process and being focused on the positive. Good things are to come and cause for celebration is near.

Tarot Card Draw #2: Five of Swords, reversed

The Five of Swords reversed in your tarot draw signifies a period of peaceful resolution, following a prolonged conflict or difficulty. You have experienced some kind of hardship, or a strain in your personal relationships, and everything is coming to an end. You will now be able to push forward peacefully, without the weight of this conflict on your shoulders. If you are in a relationship, you and your partner have been struggling for a long time. You either have been in continuous conflict with each other, or have had some other struggles in life, finances, home, stability, or somewhere else. The Five of Swords reversed indicates that the end is near, and everything will begin to flow much more smoothly. If you have been in continuous conflict with your partner, this could indicate that your relationship is coming to an end and you will begin a recovery period, or it could mean that you will begin to benefit from therapy or discussion and learn to improve your relationship. If you and your partner have experienced some other conflict, such as securing housing, difficulty with finances, or some other struggle, the end is near and you will soon have a much more positive experience. If you are not in a relationship, the Five of Swords reversed could signify the end of a prolonged period of healing, in which you are finally able to move forward and seek a more viable long term partner. This could also indicate that you will soon find a partner after a prolonged period of loneliness. In your career, you may have been experiencing difficulties in the work place. This could indicate a struggle with securing a job for yourself, or some kind of conflict with a coworker or with your organization. If you have been struggling with finding a job, you will soon find yourself with gainful employment, or possibly even in the beginning of a successful business venture. If your struggle has been in the workplace, either a conflict with a coworker or some other kind of tension in your work place, you will soon reach a resolution that will relieve the stress and tension you have felt so that you are able to focus more on your work and be more productive.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Justice

When the Justice card appears in your tarot draw, this indicates justice in legal matters, sorting affairs, or usually some kind of favorable outcome in an ongoing legal battle which you have been facing. You might also be in a position to learn an important lesson in life, or facing karma after some negative decisions you have made in the past. In your romantic life, if you are in a relationship, the Justice tarot card indicates that justice will soon be served. If you and your partner have been doing well together, then you will soon reap great rewards and your relationship will have a positive kick. However, if either you or your partner have been unfaithful or otherwise deceptive or shady towards the other, soon this will come to light and consequences will be dealt. If you are looking for a relationship, the Justice tarot card indicates you will likely soon enter a relationship with someone in the legal field, such as a lawyer, police officer, or some other kind of legal professional. In your career, the Justice tarot card usually indicates that you need to find a proper balance. You have been spending too much time on either your family or your career, and the other is being neglected. It is time to balance out the scales so that you are able to fulfill all of your obligations. Rest assured, your career will not suffer at all simply because you choose to spend a little less time at work so that you can focus more on your family, but your family will absolutely suffer if you have been spending too much time away from them and continue to allow them to be farther down on your priorities.
