Tarot Card Draw #1: King of Swords (Reversed)
The King of Swords, reversed, generally indicates a lack of structure, routine, self-discipline, power or authority. When this upside-down gentleman turns up in your daily draw, he warns that you absolutely must use your head and thoroughly think things through. He also signifies that you may be allowing any bit of power to go to your head and that your thought process may be somewhat askew and quite selfish, not to mention extremely demanding with very high expectations of others. Be careful that you do not allow yourself to become power hungry or overly demanding and abusive (mentally, emotionally, physically) of others. It will most definitely come back to bite you on the butt. Whether you are male or female, you need to just relax and get over your power trip. If you are dealing with any kind of legal matters, this reversed authority figure comes up to signify that things are most likely not going in your favor. If you are looking for a new job or possibly a new male romantic interest, be extra cautious when this card turns up as it most likely indicates someone headed your way with a lot of negative intentions and a very selfish overall demeanor. It signals of someone who is power hungry, manipulative and not at all caring or compassionate of others. He probably does not even have a good relationship with his own mother, or the woman tasked with his primary care as a child. As a potential romantic partner, he will most likely be controlling, aggressive, abusive, violent and quite oppressive. Run if you see him coming!
Tarot Card Draw #2: Six of Wands
On the face of the Six of Wands is a victorious hunter holding his kill proudly above his head with the villagers celebrating behind him. This Is an amazing card to get in a daily draw as everything about it screams great things. Among the fantastic indications of the Six of Wands are overly supportive people, your own personal cheerleader(s) as you work toward a goal or make a presentation as well as fans and well-wishers. When this card turns up for you in the upright position, it heralds victory is at hand, triumphant success, high achievements, winning and having the upper hand. It can also indicate you taking on the role of a leader, finding yourself in the spotlight, fame, celebrity, much confidence and self-esteem. If you have been dealing with struggles such as trying to get your own business up and running, attaining a higher position in your career or seeking fame, the Six of Wands will fall for you to let you know success, praise and acclaim are on the horizon. It also signifies praise, acclaim, awards, recognition, applause and goodwill. Lastly, this card speaks of strength, stability and victory in battle. On the Nine of Cups, upright, we see three people raising their wine chalices (cups) by the sea high up as if in celebration while plenty more chalices of wine are set out before them. The extra chalices indicate the many different reasons to celebrate that are found in each and every day. Through adopting an attitude of perpetual gratitude, you will open yourself up to be more mindful of all the wonderful things around you for which to be thankful, even in the darkest time. With having three people joining in on the celebrations, this tells us that we, as humans, are not meant to be alone. But rather life is better when shared with others be they friends or family.
