As we watch our daily lives unfold to a myriad of challenges, we sometimes find it hard to trust there is a Divine Plan put in place in co-creation with the Universe. But that life plan unfolds perfectly just as it was designed by you and the creator for your soul’s experience.

There is a spiritual saying that the only real choices and control we have on how our life unfolds are the choices of how we deal with what unfolds. It is in that energy that we can change the future to a better one or repeat a life loop of recreating the same old, same old.

Trusting in something that is unseen and literally can change your life with a phone call or a blind-sided happening is of course, one of the hardest of our spiritual tests. How do you go about trusting in something that does not give you everything you ask for, does not shield you from heartache nor keeps you from doing stupid things that sometimes brings about a big enough personal disaster that it completely dismantles your life? It is called being in a moment that you accept as reality but can believe this too shall pass and change.

Let the past guide the future

You learn to trust the Universe by accepting that you do not understand nor will ever completely know the big picture or end game of why some things happen in life.

What helps to release that fearful control of not knowing is taking stock of past incidences when you never thought you were going to make it, never thought something would end, never thought you would be able to find another place to live, never thought you would get over a heartache or began to think you would never find a job, etc. But they do end and the jobs do show up and there is relief from what you pray for and ask.

Maybe not in the timeframe you can see clearly or in the manner you expected, but it does change for the better if you hold onto the belief that it is ok not to know the how it will, just that it will. That’s the first baby step of learning how to trust that the Universe is assisting you in unfolding the life journey you wrote.

Realization and acceptance

The first step also comes with the realization that in the end it is so much easier than the alternative. Once we understand this, we can begin examining the moments when we resist what is happening and begin to experiment with occasionally saying yes instead. It might be scary at first and even painful at times, but if we continue to say yes to every moment through the process, we will discover the joy of being in a positive conversation with a force much bigger than ourselves.

Saying Yes to trust that gate the Universe is opening to receiving what your soul really wants. The hardest thing about saying yes to the Universe is that it means accepting everything life puts in front of us. When we say yes to the Universe, we enter into a state of trust that whatever our situation is, we can work with it.

We express confidence in ourselves and the Universe and we also express a willingness to learn from whatever comes our way, rather than running and hiding when we don’t like what we see. The question we might ask ourselves is; what will it take for us to get to the point of saying yes to it all?

For some of us, it takes coming up against something we can’t ignore, escape, or deny and we are then left no choice but to say yes. For others, it just seems a natural progression of events that leads us to making the decision to say yes to life.

I love this! I trust in the universe and I feel it coming! ??

I like the gist of this. So articles written that we have a choice finally lead to articles written that we have no choice. Same scenario, different perspective. Different point of view, different day. All is energy. Light up, light up as if you had a choice. As if!!

    Tony and Julie,
Thank you for your input on the article. They are always welcome! The most difficult part of understanding how to trust a universal plan is the we co-created it and don’t remember what we wrote. We live in a dimension of free will and with that kind of power, almost anything can happen in one’s life. Sometimes a psychic reading can give you just the answers you are looking for in order to put that trust into practice and 7th Sense Psychic have the best!
