Tarot Card Draw #1: Ten of Swords, reversed
When the Ten of Swords, reversed appears in your tarot draw, you are currently experiencing or will soon be experiencing a difficult situation for a profound length of time. This could indicate loss of employment, your home, a strain on your relationships or any number of things that could cause lengthy turmoil. You could experience a strain on your career, in the form of a job loss or a change in position, which is seemingly detrimental to your livelihood. It might entail a significant income loss, or even something that is more taxing on your body or mind. This could in turn put a strain on your family relationships or personal life and cause you to feel as though you are falling into a downward spiral. This could also indicate a major struggle in your romantic relationship, such as infidelity or even just the loss of the connection you previously felt. Your partner might be feeling insecure or planning to end your relationship. Do not misunderstand this card, and in turn attribute it to areas of your life to which it does not apply. Think about what was in the front of your mind when you sought out guidance from your tarot draw. Even if you were initially trying to get guidance on your love life, sometimes that is not necessarily what is weighing on your mind at the moment you began your draw or your search for help and guidance. The tarot cards will work off whatever is on your mind at the moment and guide you through any problems or situations related. Essentially, the cards are drawn to fit your situation, but if you instead incidentally try to relate your situation to the cards, you could be misguided and end up creating problems that otherwise would not have existed. For example, if you were focused more on your job or home when you selected your tarot draw, do not accidentally attribute the Ten of Swords to a possible negative situation in your romantic life instead or you could actually be causing problems that were not present. Do not allow this negative situation or conflict to bring you down. It is important to always remember to push forward through any conflict, because there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It might be difficult to see sometimes, but it is there, and you must keep pushing through to reach a more desirable situation.
Tarot Card Draw #2: Eight of Pentacles, reversed
When the reversed Eight of Pentacles turns up for you in a brief reading or daily draw, it quite often indicates that you are very distracted and possibly neglecting something or (more importantly) someone rather significant. It also speaks of skewed priorities and avoidance. It is now time to take a couple of steps back, look around and thoroughly and objectively reassess your priorities and some of the actions you have been taking. Serious changes are called for, or at least a reorganization of your priorities and goals. This card also warns of waste and unnecessary repetition as well as a boring or overly repetitive job that needs to be changed or at least shaken up a bit. Boredom leads to frustration which leads to mistakes, and in some instances misplaced anger or resentment. The reversed card will serve as confirmation that it’s time to take action and bring about some positive, more challenging changes in your life as well as to quite simply get your priorities in order. You may unknowingly be acting in a careless or selfish manner. In your work, it is highly probable that you are not living up to your skills and have been producing less-than-desirable results. Another thing often signaled through this card is a bad or overly negative reputation. This is especially concerning when it comes to professional matters as it will undoubtedly affect your livelihood.
Tarot Card Draw #3: Five of Pentacles
When the Five of Pentacles indicates a difficult time in your life. This could be an ongoing difficulty, or some new negative event in your life such as the loss of a job or home. You are feeling a lot of resistance and as though the world is out to get you. Do not allow this intense feeling of defeat bring you down, though, because you can still turn your situation around. This negative life change is only temporary, and you will recover as long as you keep pushing through. Please do not be afraid to accept help, as this will only hasten your recovery. In your romantic life, if you are in a relationship, the Five of Pentacles indicates that either you or your partner are struggling with feelings of abandonment or just feel undesirable. Whichever partner this is feels like they have been shunned by the other lately, rejected and unloved, because their partner’s attention is focused elsewhere, and they just do not seem to grasp that they need to be more focused on their partner’s needs at this time. An open conversation about feelings and expectations is very important, or your relationship will likely come to a very bitter end. If you are looking for a relationship, the Five of Pentacles indicates that you are feeling rejected or shunned by someone in whom you are interested, and this is causing you to feel undesirable to any new partners. Do not let this bring you down, as this person who caused you to feel this way was simply not a suitable partner for you and there are plenty of better options out there. In your career, the Five of Pentacles indicates a major loss or change which will result in a setback. If you own your own business, you might be losing your business or needing to close soon. If you are employed, you will likely be losing your position soon and need to seek the help of others to survive. This will have a negative effect on your self-esteem, which will make it difficult to recover. However, you must keep pushing forward because this is not the end of the road. You will be able to rebuild as long as you remain focused and accept any help that is offered to you.
