Tarot Card Draw #1: Eight of Cups, reversed

When the Eight of Cups falls in the reverse position in your daily tarot draw, or in any other tarot reading, it may be to bring your attention to a situation or person from whom you may unknowingly be running away. The avoidance is not because either is necessarily bad but because you are afraid to take a chance and allow yourself to be vulnerable. When it appears you may be accepting your lot in life or staying in bad situation or in a relationship with a toxic person that makes you terribly unhappy because you are afraid of moving on or worried about what the future might hold if you leave. You may appear happy to those around you but underneath it all you know is you need to let go of certain people or situations in your life in order to move forward. The reversed Eight of Cups may also indicate a lack of emotional maturity and may also be an indicator of low self-esteem or low self-worth.

Tarot Card Draw #2: Death

The Death card is not to be taken lightly, even in the reversed position. But know that when coming up in a tarot spread, it rarely indicates the actual death of someone. At times, it does, but this card also reminds us that the only true guarantee in life is death. This is made evident by Death looming so large over the three figures before him, one of whom is offering a gift of a flower to Death while the other two look to be pleading with Death. There are times when death is a welcomed release for those who have been suffering. But in a tarot spread, death usually is an indicator of some new and positive things to come. Death quite literally means a falling away of the old and the brining in of the new. If looking to make any positive changes in your life, the reversed Death card says that the time is not quite right for that to happen. Do not let this reversed card discourage you, just know that something much better awaits you and will come your way soon. This applies to all areas of your life from personal connections to home to work, etc. The two figures pleading with Death know that he can bring goodness into their lives and they are hoping for the best. The figure presenting Death with a gift is grateful for the stripping away of the negative situation which has been replaced with positive.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Page of Pentacles, reversed

When pulled in a daily tarot draw, the reversed Page of Pentacles can be quite harsh and unwelcome as it brings with it a major reality check that you simply may not want to acknowledge or be prepared for. When in a tarot spread, it is not so bad because surrounding cards could offset the ugly truth behind it. Unfortunately, today is not a spread, it is a daily draw so take the message for what it’s worth and just do what needs to be done to turn things around. Among the most common indicators of the Page of Pentacles reversed is that your current challenges and obstacles are almost all of your own making. When this card turns up, it is often to bring your attention to a matter, or matters, you have been letting slide or that you have been ignoring some key factors and quite simply, ignoring the cold hard truth. We all make mistakes and poor decisions at times, and the reversed Page of Pentacles may be turning up to help you see where you might be messing up. Some of the bad or negative habits or characteristics the reversed Page of Pentacles may be trying to bring to your attention are laziness, foolishness, frustration and impatience. The message with this card reversed is to stop procrastinating and go after what you want. The world will not just deliver your destiny to you. You have to step out of your comfort zone and make it happen. If you want to achieve your dreams you have to seize every opportunity that comes your way. Lastly, the reversed Page of Pentacles can indicate that lack of goals or a lack of follow through may be holding you back and preventing you from reaching your potential. When representing a person, the Page of Pentacles reversed indicates a young person, child or person who is young at heart, who is lazy, immature, disloyal, irresponsible, sullen or rebellious, who has little common sense and poor prospects.
