Tarot Card Draw #1: The Hermit, reversed

The Hermit falling upright for you frequently indicates the need for time alone to regroup or get some things straight in your mind and/or heart. However, when this card falls in the reversed position in a daily tarot draw, it may be trying to tell you that you are spending too much time alone or in isolation. You need to get back out there are start living your life, slowly beginning to socialize and reintegrate yourself. Too much time alone can be rather damaging to your emotional and/or mental state. Also, while time in self-reflection and taking time to do a reassessment of your life is often a good thing, there must be limitations as too much time in self-reflection could be potentially damaging as well. You may find yourself looking a bit too deeply and are seeing things from a darker perspective causing you to develop a negative outlook. Also, too much time in self-reflection can cloud your judgement and just confuse things as you may fall into the trap of “what if” or come to have regrets about a past decision that was actually in your best interest at the time. The Hermit, reversed, could also turn up for you in reference to a social situation in which you are feeling rather shy or reluctant to participate in but need to just take a chance and open yourself up. This card is encouraging you to be more social, get out there and open yourself up to new people and situations. In reversed position, The Hanged Man may also speak of you being afraid of looking at yourself more objectively out of fear of what you may see or learn about yourself. Lastly, when in reverse, The Hanged Man could be suggesting that you have allowed yourself to become a bit obsessed with someone or something to your own detriment. Also, you may be given to overly restrictive thoughts or a very narrow way of thinking and looking at things. Lighten up.

Tarot Card Draw #2: The World

If The World turns up for you in a daily draw, it may mean “the world is at your feet” or you are currently – or will very soon be — in a position of limitless potential, surrounded by opportunities. When the world turns up for you, it is time to take full advantage of all the many doors being opened up to you in all areas of your life, especially professionally. The World coming up may also indicate travel, especially to destinations at a great distance. This card could also indicate new worlds being opened up to you in much the same way as I wrote briefly of in the intro with me having live interactions with clients all over the world. This could be through you literally traveling the world or just interacting with foreigners virtually/digitally through the miracle that is the world wide web. The World card represents a culmination of sorts. You have overcome the many overwhelming tests and stressors of the previous major arcana cards and have hopefully grown from it and learned as much as you can. Now is the time to reap the rewards of your struggles and through The World, many new opportunities are being presented to you and success is at hand. The potential is endless. Take pride in how far you have come and the obstacles you have surmounted. Pat yourself on the back and welcome what lay ahead. It has been a rough go for a while, but now is the time to just enjoy all of your hard work and what you have achieved. The World often represents the achievements of major life milestones such as graduations, a wedding, starting a family after much struggle, landing that highly sought-after job or buying that way over-priced new car that you earned yourself. It may represent major achievements such as starting your own business, completing a seemingly impossible task or goal, buying that house on the hill that always seemed so far out of reach. This card speaks of completion or culmination of your continued hard work and efforts of the recent past but it also warns that you not allow yourself to get too wrapped up in the good things as they can be stripped away just as quickly. With major success comes a whole new set of challenges and problems such as maintaining the new status quo. There is a popular saying, “More money, more problems.” Do not allow this newfound success to lead you to take on more than you can handle or may not be ready for. Be realistic and keep yourself in check. If The World turns up for you in a daily draw, know that spirit, God, the gods, the universe, whomever your higher power may be is smiling down upon you. It is your time! Enjoy, but make the best of it and use it wisely. Do not squander it.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Ace of Cups

The Ace of Cups is a fantastic card to get in any Tarot reading, but even more so when it turns up in your daily tarot draw. Aces generally indicate the start of something new and this particular Ace is no exception. Upright, The Ace of Cups often indicates something new headed your way in terms of love or happiness. It could herald the beginning of a great new friendship or even a romance, possibly a refreshing restart to an existing love connection. The Ace of Cups also indicates empathy and compassion, both are very good qualities to have. If you haven’t been already, The Ace of Cups may turn up to tell you that you will very soon simply be feeling good about yourself, quite positive and just overall happy. This card may turn up to let you know now is the perfect time to begin to get out and socialize more, start up some new friendships. If you are not physically able to get out and be around other people in real-world situations, then look into some social media groups on topics and subjects that interest you. Just find a way to expand your social circle. This is an excellent time as people will be very receptive, kind and friendly to you so says the Ace of Cups. Lastly, The Ace of Cups in a daily tarot draw may indicate that good news or celebrations will soon be coming your way.
