Tarot Card Draw #1: The Magician, reversed

The Magician tarot card is much like life in that it can sometimes represent magic as being slight of hand. When it comes up reversed for you in a daily draw, it urges you to proceed with caution, especially when dealing with someone of questionable character. One of the other things The Magician, reversed, urges you to be on the lookout for is opportunity. This card indicates hidden opportunity and unexplored options available to you. It urges you to have confidence in yourself and your abilities, knowledge and skills. Stop comparing yourself to others and know that you deserve what is due you and that you are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit. If there is a particular job you desire but feel you are underqualified, put in for it anyway. You stand to lose nothing by at least trying and may be very pleasantly surprised. If you have been considering asking out your cute neighbor but fear you do not measure up, take a chance anyway and put yourself out there. Again, you have nothing to lose. Maybe they will accept, maybe they will not, but at least you tried. Reversed, The Magician also may turn up for your daily draw to warn against someone in your energies who does not have your best interests in mind. This would be someone looking to use you or take advantage of you in some way. This card serves as a warning about greedy and/or deceitful people around you.

Tarot Card Draw #2: The Hanged Man

One of the most basic and obvious meanings of The Hanged Man is indecision or being stuck in limbo. If this card turns up for you in a daily tarot draw, it may be indicating that you need to step back and try to remove yourself from the situation in order to look at things more objectively so you can make the best possible decision for yourself. By stepping outside yourself or the situation, things will eventually become more clear to you. This card will turn up if you are facing a dilemma or a tenuous, unsure situation. Another situation that The Hanged Man could be bringing your attention to is one that you are not happy with or is not at all satisfying to you. It is possible you are feeling trapped or stuck in quicksand and unable to change this situation for whatever reason. You may need to simply let go completely and just walk away for your own good. The Hanged Man may also turn to bring your attention to an overly negative or indecisive frame of mind or just a very limited way of thinking. You are not able to see the bigger picture. While seeking counsel, guidance or advice from others may help, ultimately you must act in your own best interest and make the decision for yourself. Take what others say about your situation for what it’s worth and just do what is best for you in the end. It is also possible that The Hanged Man would turn up in your daily draw to bring your attention to a situation that is not working out as you had planned and that some adjustments or changes need to be made. Alternatively, The Hanged Man may be coming up to tell you that you need to stop trying to be so controlling of another person or situation and simply allow things to work out as they will on their own in due time.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Queen of Cups

This Minor Arcana card is also a sign that you should be mindful of how you treat yourself and others or to treat people with compassion and sympathy. She can also indicate that you may be more sensitive than you let on to the outside world and that harsh actions or hurtful comments affect you more than you show to the outside world. This card can also indicate a tendency to daydream and a big imagination. As a person, the Queen of Cups represents a mature female or feminine person who is kind, caring and supportive. The Queen of Cups is a sentimental, sensitive soul and a good listener. She is empathetic to the feelings of others. As a mother, partner or friend, the Queen of Cups is affectionate, loving and warm. However, she can also be shy and have a tendency to daydream. This card can also indicate that you need to be open and honest about your feelings to get the best outcome for your relationship. If you are single, the Queen of Cups indicates that now is a great time to get out there and meet new people as a new romance could be coming your way! If representing a person, she indicates a female or feminine person who will be warm, loving, caring and affectionate. This person is a great listener and has compassion in abundance. The Queen of Cups can also come across as quiet or shy. She will be a loyal and faithful partner, make sure you treat her well! In a career context, the Queen of Cups can be an indication that you need to consider if your current career is fulfilling your emotional as well as material needs. This card can indicate that you would be suited to a career in a caring profession such as nursing, counselling or healing or a creative field such as art or fashion. It can also indicate that an emotionally mature female will offer you the support and guidance you need in your career. She can also be a reminder to focus on the emotional well-being of yourself and your work colleagues rather than just focusing on business. In a financial context, the Queen of Cups is a good omen as you should be experiencing financial security when she appears. However, this card tells you not to get caught up in making investments or complicated financial deals. Keep an eye on your finances but the other areas of your life should be taking precedence when she appears.
