Tarot Card Draw #1: The Hanged Man

At some point, each of us get caught up in an overwhelming need to be completely in control of a situation. While most of the time that is good, sometimes you also need to step back and be a little bit more objective. That is what The Hanged Man may be trying to tell you when he pops up in your daily tarot draw. If you have been struggling with a situation that you’re not happy about, such as feeling stuck, trapped in a situation or in a particular mindset, The Hanged Man may well be coming up for you also. You need to try to distance yourself from the situation. Or the mindset and go at it again with a fresher, more objective outlook. Sometimes we just get too close to something or someone to see what’s right before our eyes. For those who are in a relationship, and you draw The Hanged Man, it may indicate that you’re unhappy with your current relationship and desiring some kind of change. In a situation like this, you also need to be more objective, and weigh up the pros and cons between ending the connection or simply approaching it with a different mindset. Just relax and try to stop being so in control of things. This applies to every area of your life. If you find that you are truly unhappy in your life, The Hanged Man is coming up urging you to just relax and distance yourself from everything and everyone for a bit. This distance can be either figurative or literal, but you need to do it to recharge your mind and change your overall outlook. It is also very highly possible that you need to change your outlook and overall attitude about yourself. See yourself through more objective eyes rather than the dark, heavy negative eyes that you have been. Take a chance on yourself and step out of your comfort zone a bit.

Tarot Card Draw #2: The Fool, reversed

The basic meaning of The Fool reversed is a new beginning. If you pick this for your daily tarot draw, know that a new beginning is nigh or it is time for you to make a new beginning for yourself. The Fool reversed can also be indicative of living in the moment. As well as you acting recklessly in some situation or with some person in your life. For those in relationships, The Fool reversed may indicate that while your relationship is fun and full of excitement, the two of you may be engaging in some rather risky behaviors. This could lead to insecurity and putting your relationship in jeopardy in some way. When it comes to career and finance, The Fool may be indicating you are not acting in your own best interest due to a lack of self-confidence. Take a chance and step outside of your comfort zone. Take a leap of faith. Any way you look at it, it is time for a new beginning, and one may well fall upon you whether you’re ready for it or not.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Eight of Swords

Eight of Swords can often pop up when you are feeling hopeless or even in a seemingly helpless situation. You may feel that you are being persecuted or silenced or being oppressed in some way. The Eight of Swords also often indicate overwhelming anxiety, terror or serious mental issues. If this card shows up for you in your daily draw, you may be facing the need to get some kind of professional help. Know that that professional help is not necessarily limited to mental health, it can apply in any area of your life in which you are feeling helpless or out of control. While the Swords may be surrounding you on the card and your eyes blindfolded, know that at any moment you can take control, remove the blindfold and work your way out from within the Swords. Other things that are indicated by the Eight of Swords is some kind of legal punishment, even imprisonment, or a trial by jury of your peers. The Eight of Swords is not the best card to draw for your daily draw as it often indicates feeling confined or backed into a corner in any area of your life, especially some kind of romantic or familial relationship. It indicates negative thinking that very much needs to be turned around. You need to remove yourself from the situation or away from the person that you feel is oppressing you. If you find yourself in a job that has greatly limited your opportunities for advancement and no longer appreciates your productivity, it is definitely time to change before you grow to resent people and the company you work for.
