Tarot Card Draw #1: Nine of Pentacles

Depicted on the Nine of Pentacles, upright, is a seemingly learned man in a small lush green clearing surrounded by bunches of purple grapes, quite possibly the literal fruits of his efforts. Before him, neatly stacked, are the financial rewards he has accumulated through his own hard work as well as focused and determined efforts. The man looks to be possibly in his 40’s with an air of higher education about him. While his intelligence could well be self-taught, it is clear that he has done quite well for himself based on his surroundings and the pentacles that stand before him. This shows that effort and hard work are followed by reward. Also, that nothing worth having is not without effort. As adults, it is always best to be fully self-sufficient for your financial security. There is really only one person whom each of us can count on and that is ultimately ourselves. Hard work and dedication can take you a very long way as can expanding upon your own knowledge base. While formal higher education is not for everyone, it is always strongly encouraged to build upon your own knowledge base in some way so as to make you more marketable in the workforce as well as so you can ultimately reap the rewards of your own successes.

Tarot Card Draw #2: Ten of Wands, reversed

Shown on the Ten of Wands is a figure who appears broken and dejected amongst ten wands standing up against each other, each looking to be ablaze. The person looks scared and without hope. When reversed, the Ten of Wands indicates a strong sense of being overwhelmed and having far too much responsibility. Your load is heavy. Your stress level is great. When dealing with mental illness or depression and this card turns up reversed, it can indicate that a break is near. The time for serious action and prevention is at hand. Self-care Is very much called for. Alternatively, this card can indicate it is time to learn to set some boundaries and say no, delegate and do not be afraid to ask for assistance. Negatively, it can touch on shirking your responsibilities or pushing your work off onto someone else. Lastly, the Ten of Wands coming up reversed for a daily draw can indicate you are beating a dead horse or expending a tremendous amount of effort while gaining little in return. It is time to step back, reassess and come up with a new game plan, a plan B.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Five of Pentacles, reversed

Quite often, when a card falls in the reversed position, it is seen as being rather negative; sometimes even quite negative. But when the Five of Pentacles falls reversed, it is a sign of some very good things to come, especially in a daily draw. It also just looks better because when it’s upright, the robed male figure is quite ominous and a bit scary as well as creepy. If you have been dealing with some struggles and stressful times, the reversed Five of Pentacles will show up signaling the end of your darkness and troubles is near. This card is here to tell you that standing firm and persevering will soon pay off and that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train but rather something to look forward to. Allow this card to lighten your mood and give you hope. If you’ve been alone and struggling, this card will herald the beginning of a new personal connection. It also foretells of recovery from physical ailments as well as improved luck and better financial circumstances ahead. Two of the more important indications of the Five of Pentacles falling reversed are forgiveness, either you finding it within yourself to forgive someone who wronged you or you receiving forgiveness from someone you hurt. It also speaks of removing toxic persons and heralds increased stability and overall security.
