Tarot Card Draw #1: Four of Wands, reversed
All of the indicators of the Four of Wands reversed may seem incredibly dark, ominous and outright depressing; however, they are more to bring your attention to overly negative situations, behaviors or other things so that the necessary changes can be made to turn it all around. Four of Wands reversed touches on almost every negative aspect of life from canceled plans and celebrations to an unhappy homelife, failures on the job, not feeling welcome and a lack of support, just to name a few. This card speaks of insecurity, instability and feeling neglected or out of place. You may feel like you do not belong anywhere, you’re doubting yourself or struggling to get to where you most want to be in life, work, relationships, any other specific area of your life. In all relationship matters, especially romance, Four of Wands reversed is a dark omen of instability, disagreements, a house divided, partners pulling apart from one another without even realizing it. You may feel tremendously forgotten or neglected, maybe you are the one neglecting someone important in your own life. On the job, this card talks of poor planning, lack of constructive management, an overly negative and toxic work environment. Four of Wands also warns of wasteful spending. While everything mentioned here is incredibly dark and heavy, please keep in mind that everything written here can be changed with focused and determined effort. This card is only turning up to bring your attention to where changes need to be made.
Tarot Card Draw #2: Queen of Wands, reversed
If you have been feeling overwhelmed, overextended, incredibly exhausted, the Queen of Wands may very well turn up reversed for you in a daily Tarot draw. You may have gotten in over your head, or very soon will, so do not be too afraid or ashamed to ask for help. The Queen of Wands reversed screams of disorganization, a terrible lack of planning and simply not thinking things through before taking action. Be extra mindful of your own mindset as you may have come to be quite pessimistic, grumpy and even a bit judgmental. Step back. Adopt a much more positive outlook. Be more objective and not so quick to judge others, or even yourself. Something else this upside lady is telling you is to simply mind your own business. The Queen of Wands reversed may also warn of someone near you who is quite manipulative, spiteful, unscrupulous or an incredibly vindictive liar. Watch out for people in your surroundings who may seem to be a good friend to you but may well only be looking to benefit by you in some way, to use you or to gain some personal information about you that they would eventually use against you. This card also warns against being too quick to judge others who may be acting in an overly negative and hurtful way. It is possible they are struggling with their own inner demons and are projecting more than being an ugly spirited individual. Also, if you are in a position to help others, then do so as you can.
Tarot Card Draw #3: Seven of Swords
Three overly negative and dark cards in one day is extremely rare. Could it be the planets in a freaky alignment? It is not the full moon because that just passed, but this is just plain odd. The Seven of Swords may be showing up in your daily draw to bring your attention to someone in your circle who may be acting underhanded toward you, plotting, scheming, using manipulation to get what they want from you. It also is to bring your attention to fake friends and people who may be acting toward your detriment in some way. Someone may be trying to sabotage you, take advantage of you, slandering you. Your personal property may be at risk so take extra care to ensure your possessions are properly secured at all times, your doors and windows are always locked. Just be sure to guard yourself; however, it is much more likely your property and possessions that may be at risk. In business matters, the Seven of Swords is a warning against lopsided deals, someone possibly trying to undercut you, scam you or possibly benefit personally from your hard work. In matters of the heart, it warns of cheating romantic partners, but please do not automatically assume that is what today’s draw is trying to tell as it will not hold true for every person. It is only a warning to pay attention to what may be going on with your partner. Occasional questions of their character, loyalties and honesty are part of human nature, but insecurities should not ever be a regular part of a serious romantic connection. Trust and communication are key. If you feel insecure, talk with someone to vent or look deep within yourself to try and understand why you may feel that way. Sometimes our insecurities are borne more of our past experiences rather than any actions by a current partner. Just please do not jump to conclusions. It is always possible that you may have people around you, romantic partners, friends or relatives, who are deceptive, manipulative or acting only in their own best interest, but not necessarily probable. The upside of the Seven of Swords is that it speaks of you acting in a strategic manner, calling upon your own inner strength and courage, always staying one step ahead, quick to think on your feet and often being incredibly resourceful.
