Our Virgo New Moon will appear tomorrow, the 17th. This New Moon will bring in energies of laying new foundations, the re-birth of old plans and ideas and a realignment with your authentic self. Today, you may find yourself realizing you are really, really ready for something to change in your life. Whichever area of your life that may be, there will be a strong sense of the purpose of onward and upward; leaving behind what you feel is stagnant. Since we are dealing with a reverse draw today, expect the unexpected when those new plans pop into your head and heart. We are still in the Zodiac house of the ‘detailed oriented’ earth sign Virgo until September 24th. Virgos handle change and adjustments quickly and well, so whatever new agenda is chosen, they will have the plan all laid out fairly quickly once the decision is made.

Tarot Card Draw #1: Six of Wands (Reversed)

The Six of Wands is a straight-out Victory card, regardless of how it’s pulled or in what category it relates to. If you have pulled the Six of Wands today, definitely something will come about that you have championed come out the other side feeling better about yourself or a situation. You may be bloodied and bruised but still feeling pretty good. Being pulled reversed is a heads up to the old saying; “A bird in hand is worth two in the bush.” Meaning, double check and be sure that whatever is offered to you today is actually in your favor at the moment and not just an empty promise of things to come.

Tarot Card Draw #2: Five of Cups (Reversed)

Pulling the Five of Cups shows you have dealt with frustration and disappointment in the past and probably today will be no different except that you pulled the card reversed! I always look at this particular card when reversed, as a message that situations or people who have disappointed you in the past, may just surprise you and actually come through for you.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Three of Swords (Reversed)

The Three of Swords is not a particularly happy card to draw in all its sadness and melancholy energy but sometimes mourning the loss of someone or something is a healthy release to move on in your own strength. A grieving time, being pissed off over the loss of something or someone or a good ole’ temper tantrum can sometimes be just what the spiritual shaman ordered. The catch is not to stay in it. So today, if you feel like woofing down a quart of your favorite ice cream and being a TV couch potato, don’t feel an ounce of guilt over it. Then count to 1,2,3,4,5 and announce to yourself that the pity party is over and start making new plans. This card being pulled reversed is a good omen if it pertains to you, as you are the only one in control of your thoughts, feelings and behavior. If the reversed card represents someone else or a situation out of your control, you might run into disappointment about less than stellar behavior from someone you least expected. If so, try and not embrace it personally. Remembering that everyone is going through some scary and challenging times and that disappointment may be a direct fallout of all the chaos that is now around us.
