Tarot Card Draw #1: Two of Swords, reversed
If the Two of Swords turns up reversed in your daily tarot draw, you may have been knowingly or unknowingly allowing yourself to be overwhelmed by anxiety, worry, fear or stress. This may result in mental and/or emotional issues which will most likely lead to you not being able to make any decision at all, let alone the right decision. In addition to not being able to make a decision, the reversed Two of Swords may show up indicating delays or things being postponed either by you or another party directly involved. This card coming up in the reversed position may also be trying to bring your attention to someone (either yourself or another person) who is acting in an overly cautious manner or who is detached from an important situation, quite guarded or has been intentionally distant or just plain cold and uncaring. It can also indicate someone who is either unable or refusing to let go of resentment or anxiety as well as struggling with information overload. The reversed Two of Swords may be representative of a liar or lies being outed or exposed. Lastly, It can also indicate that you or someone you have been involved with on some level or whom you have been trying to work with is finally able to realize and understand the truth of a matter or situation following a time of mental confusion or detachment.
Tarot Card Draw #2: Five of Cups
The Five of Cups is an overly emotional card which quite often speaks of the negative emotions we experience such as grief, loss, depression, oppression, emotional pain, sadness, loneliness and despair. These negative emotions are quite often precipitated by an unwelcome or unexpected change or trauma in your life such as job loss, divorce, miscarriage, your significant other ending your shared romantic connection or the death of a loved one be it expected or unexpected. The Five of Cups may turn up in your daily draw if you have been feeling regret, remorse, anger sorrow or disappointment. Maybe you have recently wronged someone in some way and are now feeling badly for it. Possibly you feel abandoned or betrayed by someone close to you or by someone whom you trusted a great deal and never expected to turn on you. While your heart may be breaking or you may be simply feeling quite overwhelmed by the pain and darkness, this card also speaks of something that I quite frequently write about: there is always something positive to be found in every situation, no matter how bad or negative it may be. This is made evident by the lone upright cup among the four overturned cups. If we look hard enough, we can find the positive and hopefully use it to find healing or to be advantageous to us in some other way.
Tarot Card Draw #3: Nine of Pentacles, reversed
When the reversed Nine of Pentacles comes up for you in a daily draw, it quite often is there to serve as a warning. One of the things it warns about is that you may have allowed yourself to become overly concerned with material and financial gain or that you have been acting in a reckless or deceitful manner primarily for your own personal gain in some way. Alternatively, it could be warning that such a person has recently entered your circle or will try to very soon. This card may also turn up for you if you have been choosing to or allowing yourself to be overworked, most likely to the point that other areas of your life may be suffering such as family, home, self-care, etc. Other vitally important things this reversed money card could be working to bring to your attention are that you have been acting in a rather superficial way as well as taking advantage of people whom you may feel could benefit you, especially in work/career/business and financial matters. Occasionally people who have been feeling left out or as though others have been judging them or treating them harshly, this card will come up to hold a mirror to your own behaviors. It is entirely possible that you have earned this treatment due to you acting overly selfish and shallow or even quite immature and self-serving. This leads into to two of the much more negative indicators of this card in that you may have been acting in deceitful ways or abusing other in a myriad of ways such as emotional manipulation, mentally or, in rare cases, physically. Lastly, this card may come up in reference to an individual who is shallow, cheap, tacky or is just plain lacking in sophistication, elegance or style.
