Going into the week of February 24th, we are now into the sign of Pisces until March 20th. Pisceans, the Fish, love to create a life of different experiences and are probably the most adaptable of all signs. Usually, no life challenge can shake their faith that “this too shall pass.” We had a New Moon in Pisces on Sunday the 23rd. which helps fuel all new potential and opportunities to use your natural talents. On top of that, we went into Mercury Retrograde on the 16th until March 10th. We all know the cautionary tales that go with that but in this particular Retrograde, because of the planetary line-up, it is more than just scattered energy being sprinkled everywhere. It is also a purposeful energetic disruption to bring about expansion in the stagnant areas of your life.
Story continues below…
Tarot Card Draw #1: Ace of Wands (Reversed)
The Ace of Wands is always about birthing and passionate new beginnings. Because we have so many influences this week that will bring change, you can expect that it will be a mixed bag of surprises and challenges. On the physical level, it can indicate an unexpected or desired news of an impending birth. On the energetic level, it shows you the fire you may have missing from your life will be re-ignited by someone or something brought to you without your intention planning. The reason for this is because the Ace of Wands was pulled in reverse, so its passionate new energy that you had not made plans for…it just shows up!
Tarot Card Draw #2: Page of Swords
The Page of Swords always has a double meaning to me when I see it drawn. You have this creative young energy showing up to display what being recklessly brave, getting out of your rut and taking chances feel like but also brings the energy of impulsiveness to choices you make this week. With so many planetary influences going on, double think any decisions that carries a feeling it will create a whole new you and life agenda. It is an absolute truth, “all that glitters is not gold”, so step back, breathe, explore the possibility of different end goals and then make an authentic choice from solid reality. Taking into account if it sounds too good to be true, it is. If for even a moment you get that “creepy” feeling something just doesn’t feel right, then investigate further. It could be just your reluctance for change or it could be your higher self, giving you a “heads up” warning not to take blindly accept the new and shiny in your life, thinking it will replace what you consider drab and old. It may well be stagnant energy but it still has for a little longer.
Tarot Card Draw #3: Five of Swords
The Five of Swords, suggests that you will be given an opportunity to stand your ground, speak your piece or clarify someone else’s assumption of what you will do or what you are thinking that may be incorrect. Regardless if speaking your piece or not ever is something you are doing; this new opportunity will not be so easy to just casually speak your truth. I call the Five of Swords the “Wuss Card” as it stands for being taken advantage of in some way, even if that is silence. Once again, with all the planetary influences going on this week, you might just discover you have a real talent for snarky one-liners you never knew you had. It just rolls out of your mouth before you realize it. If you like the way it makes you feel speaking your truth in that manner, add it to your list of authentic-self and use it often. As long as it does not have mean and disrespectful undertones to it, being the Queen of snarky one-liners can help keep a sense of humor about yourself and others in almost any challenging situation.
