Mercury Retrograde hit us on October 31st and we came out of it on November 20th. Hopefully most of us came through those few weeks lightly unscathed. We have a New Moon today, the 26th in Sagittarius, and Mars is opposite Uranus, which is the cause of the most disruptive of all influences in astrology. It makes people angry, impulsive and rebellious. With the New Moon in Sagittarius, it also brings in honesty and a desire to experience new paths. This line-up will definitely, regardless of what tarot card you choose, will push you to be honest with yourself about a situation you forever had faith in would change to your benefit and hasn’t. With a new basis of honesty and truth of how you are REALLY handling your love life, career, money or health will be prominent this week. Some will be delightful surprises and some will be a clear indication that you have been too tolerant of how you or others are dealing with your life. You might even run into a situation this week of “I have been wanting to do this for a while” or vice versa. Once you get over the truth shock or relief that it has finally been said and dealt with, you then begin to create new experiences from a different viewpoint. All three of the pulled cards point to a hard situation that you are ready to face and deal with.

Tarot Card Draw #1: Two of Swords

The Two of Swords always carries the energy of feeling caught between a rock and hard place. Which way do I turn? What should I do? Will it be the right decision when I make it? With Mars also opposing Uranus, it could end up being a little bit of a confrontational week for you but with a good outcome over that face-off. Something needed to be addressed or gotten off your chest for a while and the planetary line-up will line up those button-pushing situations just enough to make your stand. My spirit guide, who is a movie addict, is chanting from the old 1977 frat movie, “Animal House with John Belushi….” WE’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE! WE’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!” Anyway, you get the picture of some pretty good closure face-offs this week, if you are ready.

Tarot Card Draw #2: The World (Reversed)

The World tarot card is always representative of success at your projects and a happy conclusion to something that has not been addressed but is long overdue. So even if you have that moment when you get to speak your mind, change it or take a different direction than before, the outcome will end up in your favor! It’s just going to be one of those life moments you may have to roll around in the muck for a while to come out feeling as clean and sweet as your 4-year-old inner child sees you. Try not to let your ego “forewarn you” about the horrible consequences that COULD happen if you speak your mind or take your stand. It is a week of “put your dukes up baby, I’m ready to get this resolved! Because this card was drawn in reverse position, it indicates your past reluctance and so the universe might sneak it in for your personal growth.

Tarot Card Draw #3: Eight of Swords

Once again, a card that represents having your hands tied over a situation and not being able to find resolution, as of yet. Since we have the New Moon and Mars alignment, it may be a week where you will not be able to escape what you have avoided at all costs. As in the old song from the 70’s by the Fifth Dimension… (Geesh my guide must be caught in that time era, lol!) “The Age of Aquarius”, “When the moon is in the Seventh House and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then peace will guide the planets.” What I believe that little piece of information from my snarky guide is, regardless of any confrontation where you stand up for yourself that you may have this week, it will bring more inner peace to you and your life. It could be a sense of “I finally did it!” to “Wow! Didn’t see that coming but I am so glad it is now taken care of. There is just a big sigh of relief that it is finally done or said. Let that Warrioress come out and put things in perspective in your life. Sometimes, we misinterpret our procrastination and avoidance to address a problem with just being NICE!
